Kentucky Horse Park Campground, Lexington, Kentucky

Date of Stay: November, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Good campground layout. Most sites level with shade. You can see a photo of the site before booking so this helps tremendously. Tons of amenities. Large restroom with showers. Laundry. Large campstore. Jr. Olympic size pool that is well maintained. Large playground area. Legacy Bike/Walking Trail trailhead on site. Lots to see and do on site and in the area. Never a dull moment. We stay there 4-5 times a year. Keeneland racetrack nearby. Enjoy watching the competitions going on at the Horse Park, touring the beautiful grounds, or visiting the museums. Highly recommend this park. We camped at Kentucky Horse Park Campground in a Travel Trailer.

A. J. Jolly Park and Campground, Alexandria, Kentucky

Date of Stay: November, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed in the equestrian campground due to size of camper (35 ft.) but did not have horse. Large level gravel space with water and electric. Lake was short distance from site so easy access with kayaks. Road bikes around park without any issues. Very peaceful and quiet setting. Fishing, golf course and wonderful environmental education center on site. Local winery very short distance away. We camped at A. J. Jolly Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.
