This is by far the best park in the Amarillo area, about ten miles west of town. Very friendly staff, large rv sites with concrete pads and patios. The roads are all blacktop and easy to navigate. Private individual restrooms with showers are spotless. Although the clubhouse, pool and spa were not open they looked to be very nice and large. Grass dog walk was very nice too. I will definitely stay here again next time I am through the area.

This is the second time we have stayed at this park and it is probably the best park in Santa Fe. Very friendly staff. A little over priced for what it is, especially when they add a six dollar motel tax to the bill but everything in Santa Fe seems to be a little more expensive than normal. Very close to everything in town and a lot of places to shop.

Very nice state park with a lot of room between sites and large enough sites for our 41 foot fifth wheel. Although the park doesn't have sewer on the sites we stayed in site 39 and it did have a sewer connection which was nice. We would stay there again if visiting the area. Very close to Winslow and only about a mile off the highway but highway noise was not a problem at all.

Very nice park with concrete sites and grass area between sites. Some pull throughs and some back in's but either way it is an easy park to navigate. A very nice golf course right next door and another very nice one five miles away but still in the casino area. Easy hook-up's and very good free WI-FI. Considering it is just a casino RV park it is a very nice park.

The daily rate is about 40.00 I think but I stayed for a month and that was 500.00 for a back in site plus electricity. All the pull throughs are for shorter stays since they don't have an electric meter. The camp ground is pretty nice, lots of pine trees, some that will block a satellite signal. The sites are pretty close together, mostly grass and gravel. WIFI is not free so that is bad for a campground these days. 5:00 per day or 25.00 per month. The owners and other employees in the office are ok but not overly friendly. The two rows of camp sites on either side of the park are for long term campers and a lot of those sites are old RV's with a lot of junk that makes the park look run down. One of the main things that almost made me leave early was the stink bugs. They are horrible and get into every part of your RV. Clothes, cabinets, beds and every where else that you can think of. I don't use cable and I guess that is a good thing since there isn't any. I have stayed there twice, once ten years ago when the park was a lot nicer and this time. I might stay there again if I were in the area but I would look around for something better next time.

We just stopped here overnight on our way east and I am glad that we only stayed overnight because I wouldn't want to be here for two nights. Very little improvements have been done in this park, just a grass area with hookups and poor gravel roads. Even the office is in poor shape. Grass has grown up about a foot high around a lot of the campers which means that they are there long term, mostly people that work in the area. I definitely wouldn't want to stay here again.

This is a well kept park but it isn't anything special. The main drawback is the dusty gravel roads throughout the park. The owners are friendly and helpful. No pool and it was 98 degrees the day we were there so it would have been nice to have one. My WIFI wouldn't work until I turned on my WIFI Ranger. OK for an overnight stay but I wouldn't want to stay here any longer than that.

This is your average park with lots of shade trees in some areas and open areas for satellite users. Fairly level sites and fairly close together. I had a back in site with a worn picnic table, no fire ring and no patio, just gravel for the site and grass in between sites. Great owners, extremely friendly and helpful. Cash, money order or check only, no credit or debit cards. Two pools and a kiddie pool. A little overpriced for what it is. I might stay here again but would look around the area first to see what else is available.

This park bills itself as the worlds first KOA and the part of the park that I was looks it. Like most KOAs it is overpriced. I paid $53.00 for water and electric, no sewer. Keep your bug spray handy. Mosquitoes will carry you off. If there was a better choice I would stay elsewhere.

I am not a big fan of KOA parks because usually they are overpriced for what you get. This park is not cheap but it is by far the best KOA that I have ever seen. Well off the road so no noise, extremely clean and well kept. Beautiful landscaping. Super clean restrooms and showers. They have an ice cream shop and a game room/restraurant that serves breakfast and dinner in an outside seating area. The price indicates a super large premium lot that also had an area for an outside tent if you need it. The staff is extremely polite and helpful and there are numerous workers that keep the park in perfect condition. Two pools and a hot tub and playground for kids. Several camping cabins and some super deluxe cabins as well. I have never seen a KOA like this one. Absolutely perfect. The only drawback is they need more WIFI towers. Not very good service unless you are close to the office. I would stay here again for sure and would recommend it to anyone in the area.

Very clean and well kept park almost to the point of being sterile. You are handed three pages of rules that if you don't follow you can be asked to leave without a refund. No showers past 10:00, no late check ins, the office is closed from noon to 1:00 so if you arrive late or during lunch you have to wait until they reopen. No pets walked anywhere except the dog run and don't let them do their business on your site or any other site. There are signs everywhere that this is not a pet area. This park is pet tolerant, not pet friendly. I had a problem with my RV the day my reservation was to start and when I called to tell them that I might be late instead of working with me to maybe move my reservation back one day all they said was that if I didn't show up on time I would lose my deposit. They don't seem to care about the customers at all, just keeping the park spotless. I reserved a corner lot which was supposed to be a premium lot but it was hardly large enough to hold my 5th wheel and tow vehicle and also very noisy due to being right on the highway. Great landscaping but very small and close. There are plenty of other parks in the area for the same or less money so I would never stay here again. I would go somewhere else that appreciated my business more because this park doesn't care about the customer.

This is a nice little park, very pretty setting in the pine trees. Good WIFI, good cable if you use it, satellite service in some sights but a lot of trees to block the signal unless you are in the right site. I was in site I was in site 24 and was able to get a satellite signal with Dish. I would probably stay here again if in this area.

Very nice park on the river, clean and helpful staff. A lot of the pull throughs aren't very long. We were in site 43 and our 41 foot 5th wheel left no room for parking our tow vehicle so we had to park in the overflow parking. Price was with the off season discount so it is a bit too expensive for what it is but overall it is a pretty nice park. We would probably stay here again if in the area.
