Woodchip Campground, Byron Center, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Our site was small and dirty. Once we checked in, the emlpoyees avoided us. They didn't speak, wave, etc. Upon check in, a HUGE deal was made about the 5 MPH speed limit, yet people raced around all weekend. The free root beer floats were nice, as was the kids church on Sunday. All of the barking dogs were annoying! We camped at Woodchip Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Clinton Lake Camping, Republic, Ohio

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Upon check in, I had to ask directions to our campsite, as they didn't feel the need to tell us. The gift shop was closed the whole weekend. We weren't given a list of activities, so when we heard music playing, we walked to find it & seen they were having a dance. People looked at us like we didn't belong, so we walked back to our camper. Terrible weekenders in tents behind us. The woman was pregnant and had several kids already. She cussed at the kids all weekend. I had to go over to the electric box and remove the power cord from her 2 year old, who was playing with it! We camped at Clinton Lake Camping in a Travel Trailer.

Careful of the Richmond 2018 Travel Guide! Some of the businesses are no longer open and/or hours are wrong. Also, bypass the Richmond Welcome Center if you're going for the free Passport to Savings/discount coupons/savings because they still haven't come in (at the end of June!).

Lakeview RV Park, Lancaster, Ohio

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

The couple that run the park were so nice! We arrived later than we intended, due to traffic. I stayed in touch by texting and they were in the office waiting on us when we finally arrived. Site was between two lakes & view was very pretty. Cute little laundry house & bath house. Very nice and quite large deck off the office that you can sit & look at the lake. Very nice!! We camped at Lakeview RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Pic-A-Spot Campground, Warsaw, Indiana

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Staff in the office took very good care of us during check in and any questions we had as to places in the area to go. Lake was beautiful to wake up to in the morning! Fire ring needed cleaned out, we were unable to keep a fire going due to it being 3/4 full and wet. Wi-Fi was $6.95/night and worked very well for us. We camped at Pic-A-Spot Campground in a Travel Trailer.
