Gulf Coast RV Resort, Beaumont, Texas

Date of Stay: December, 2006 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

We were here in our motorhome and had a wonderful stay. The sites are generously large and clean. They invited us to a free breakfast and were very accommodating in the Office. We would go back there in a flash! We camped at Gulf Coast RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Parker's Landing RV Park, Biloxi, Mississippi

Date of Stay: December, 2006 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This park is a long-term home to a lot of low-class rigs and trailers belonging to the locally employed fishermen. They have done very little to up-grade and maintain their facilities. I would not choose to stop there again. We camped at Parker's Landing RV Park in a Motorhome.

Van Horn RV Park (formerly Van Horn KOA), Van Horn, Texas

Date of Stay: December, 2006 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

This was a "lifesaver" park, we had just left San Antonio and had to go to Tucson, but that was not feasible in one day. Van Horn was a pleasant spot to stop for one night. The Staff was really pleasant and helpful in getting us situated. The sites are easily accessible and adequate spacing. We camped at Van Horn RV Park (formerly Van Horn KOA) in a Motorhome.

Mesa Spirit RV Resort (55+ park), Mesa, Arizona

Date of Stay: December, 2006 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

We came here in our 40' motorhome for a 2 week stay. The Staff was exceptionally courteous and helpful, especially the Security Chief who escorted us to our site and helped us get situated. We have been here twice before and the convenience of their location and the cleanliness of the park were especially influential in our continuing to return. We would recommend this park to anyone coming to Mesa. One of our neighbors had come here from Alaska and was similarly pleased with the park. We camped at Mesa Spirit RV Resort (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Travelers World RV Resort, San Antonio, Texas

Date of Stay: November, 2006 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

As we compare this park to some that are in the Good Sam Directory, we wonder how in the world they can be so highly rated! The roads are bad, and the park is generally less than advertised as being by Good Sam. The only plus they have is their location to the center of town. They need to repair their roads, etc. We camped at Travelers World RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tucson / Lazydays KOA, Tucson, Arizona

Date of Stay: November, 2006 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

This is one of the better parks we have been in since we left Oregon and went to Key West, Florida. There is a great Service facility here on-site too, and they are wonderfully professional and well trained technicians. The park is immaculate and very nice sized sites. We usually come here for Homecoming at the University, but we come here just to enjoy the accommodations at other times. If you are coming to southern Arizona, this is the place to stay! We camped at Tucson / Lazydays KOA in a Motorhome.

Tropical Palms Resort and Campground, Kissimmee, Florida

Date of Stay: November, 2006 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

We had planned for months to come to Orlando to enjoy Epcot Center before moving on to Key West. The service here is excellent, very concerned that they do everything possible to make you comfortable. The Guest Guide takes you in a golf cart to any one of the available sites so that you can choose the one you like best, he then sees that you get situated and hooked-up. I had to leave one day to go to the Cummins Service Shop in Orlando and one tree leaning out over the drive nearly tore off the awning of my rig. Thankfully, I was stopped in time to make an adjustment to my approach and cleared the tree. One of the guests nearby said that this tree had been a problem to several other big rigs in the past. I mentioned this problem I had to the Guest Guide and he said that he did not like that same tree and another limb that should also be removed. Great attitude toward something that really needs attention. The laundry facility is spotless. We would return again!!! We camped at Tropical Palms Resort and Campground in a Motorhome.

Flamingo Lake RV Resort, Jacksonville, Florida

Date of Stay: November, 2006 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

We had an enjoyable stay here in our motorhome. They were most helpful in every respect. I would return in a heart-beat. The view of the lake from our rig was very relaxing and pleasant. They are close to the Wal-Mart for easy shopping and right off of the freeway for easy access going either east or west. It is also close to Dick Gore's RV Service and they did a great job for me. This has to be one of the best RV Resorts we have stayed in from Oregon to Florida, from September to November. We camped at Flamingo Lake RV Resort in a Motorhome.
