Wonderful park, streets were all paved so it made it great for walking. The surrounding area was beautiful. WiFi great. Owner very nice. Garbage picked up at your site in the morning. Would stay again. We camped at Oakwood RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Travelers World RV Resort, San Antonio, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park, the sites are raked after every departure so that when you come in it is level. Sites are level. When you come into the office a loud cow bell clangs, it is way too loud. No offense to the locals but the park is located in a run down part of town & if your GPS tells you to take South Cross Blvd don't go because there is a steep RR crossing that causes the back of an RV to drag, try & find a way around it. We would stay here again. We camped at Travelers World RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Oak Forest RV Park, Austin, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This is a beautiful park, since we didn't use the fitness equipment nor the laundry I can't say anything about them. The streets were all paved, pad was concrete, the landscaping was nice & the surrounding area was beautiful to look at. You can put your trash out in the morning & it will be picked up for you. We only stayed one night & would definitely stay here again. We camped at Oak Forest RV Park in a Motorhome.

RV Ranch of Keene, Keene, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We thought the park was nice, the space was gravel & long enough. It was not level but we compensated. The woman running it was very nice & they do have a large video store. We were there only 3 days but unfortunately it was during all that horrible weather so we spent much of the time in the RV. We would stay there again. We camped at RV Ranch of Keene in a Motorhome.

Lighthouse RV Resort, Melissa, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This is actually a very nice park. The sites are ample & wide enough. The laundry room has 5 new washers and dryers which were in perfect condition. We were greeted with enthusiasm. I had to have a package FedEx'd to me while staying there & the young man at the office made sure I was notified that it arrived. We would stay here again. We camped at Lighthouse RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We had to have repairs on our Malibu & went to Eldorado Chevrolet in McKinney, they were able to do a diagnosis & because the part had to be gotten locally we were booked a day later. After dropping the car off we received a courtesy ride back to the RV park, & a ride back when the car was done

With all the construction going on GPS is not reliable.

Lafons RV Park, Princeton, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice park, the office help is very friendly. It does, however have some drawbacks. The office is not close to the park they put us in, so since we had to unhook at the office, we were unable to look at the park before going to it. The roads were covered with recently installed larger than normal crushed rock, if you have weak ankles or bad feet, it is hard to walk. Had we known this ahead of time we would not have stayed. Laundry facility has 3 washer & 3 dryers, they are in a cargo trailer & had it not been for a neighbor we would not have known that was where the facility was. There was a storm shelter. We would not stay there again. We camped at Lafons RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a nice park, we were in the newer section. Streets were paved & was ideal for walking. The woman helping in the office was very nice, & when asked, provided us the name of a place to get our hair cut. Laundry room had 4 washers/Dryers & were in good shape, also reasonably priced. Wifi was excellent. Heads up -They don't accept American Express. We stayed 2 weeks & if through this area would stay again. We camped at Mesa Verde RV Park in a Motorhome.

Abilene RV Park, Abilene, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

The park is off a frontage road, but that is not unusual in this area. The park is older so you need to take that into account. The roads in the park were in pretty good condition considering all the rain. And while we were there improvements were already being made. The WiFi was good. One review stated that the women who runs the park was rude, I did not find this to be the case. She was very pleasant. When we arrived at our next RV park, my husband discovered he had left our pressure regulator, he then called Abilene RV park & asked if they would consider sending it to where we were & we would reimburse them for the cost. The said they would. And we received it within 2 days. We camped at Abilene RV Park in a Motorhome.
