Oasis RV Resort, Amarillo, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Concrete pads and asphalt roads. Level and large. Most are pull thru. Laundry facilities are clean and reasonably priced. Office has hamburgers or pizza available. WiFi was good as was the cable TV. Some roads are beginning to need repair. We camped at Oasis RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Georgia RV Park (formerly Country Boys RV Park), Commerce, Georgia

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Site 50 is too short for 40 ft rv and truck. Ditches all around. Site only close to level. One leg of electric supply was only 106 volts with no load. Frequently (every 5 to 10 minutes) dropped to 105 volts under load which caused my surge protector to shut down to protect rv. This prevented us from using the air conditioning. Not good when the temperature outside is in the high 80s or low 90s. Park maintenance man blames local power company. Most residents seem to be long term. We camped at Georgia RV Park (formerly Country Boys RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice shade trees. Wide paved sites. Owner is fun and helpful. Water system pressure is regulated. Electric pedestals are in great shape. New picnic tables. Grills at each site. Will definitely stay here next time we are in the area. We camped at North Crest RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Idyll Glen RV Park, Lago Vista, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

There are 3 pull thru sites for short term campers. The rest appear to be long term units. Very hilly. Narrow roads with multiple turns. Sites are too narrow with rocky drop offs to next terrace. Free washers and dryers. Pay satellite TV. Close to a relative that we wanted to visit, otherwise I would not stay here. We camped at Idyll Glen RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Not much in the area. Two small towns nearby. Close enough to Houston, TX. Fishing, paintball, rodeo arena, disc golf, walking trails, herd of deer that are used to people live in the park. Large park with level sites that are spaced far enough apart so that you can enjoy the scenery.

Cozy Corner RV Park, Clinton, Missouri

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Advertised as pull thrus. Actually the sites are long end to end sites for two RVs, so the first in is a pull thru, but the second person must back in. Sites were flat but sloping so 5th wheel rv was not level unless detached from truck. Appeared clean. We camped in a 5th wheel. No serious complaints, but we will not stay here again. Bluebonnet Ridge RV Park, Terrell, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Most sites are pull thru. Fish and release lake. Sites are gravel with strips of grass between sites. Fairly level. Easy in and out. Shade trees are trimmed and don't hit top of RV's. Great cookies and dog biscuits when you check in. Staff is helpful and friendly. Two nurses live in the park and the owner has emergency medical training and equipment (unfortunately, I needed their help). WiFi reliability and speed is typical. 30 free Satellite TV channels. Free book and DVD library. Staff came to our rescue on two different occasions. Great people and great place to stay. We camped at Bluebonnet Ridge RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tillamook / Bay City RV Park, Tillamook, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Linda was extremely polite and helpful. She even brought our mail to our RV. Sites and roads are adequate for big rigs and they have both pull-thrus and back-ins. Some shaded sites. Gravel roads and pads are level. Convenient to US 101, Bay City and Tillamook. We camped at Tillamook / Bay City RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Waldport / Newport KOA, Waldport, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Many of the workers are kids who don't know enough to be helpful. Our site was much too short and narrow for our rig even though I was clear about my requirements when I made the reservation. I arrived at 11:30 but was not allowed to check in until 1:00 even though to space they assigned me was vacant. Fee is too high for this park. Spaces are tight and roads make maneuvering difficult. Most sights only have 30 amp. Only basic 12 channel cable available. Wifi was better than most rv parks. We camped at Waldport / Newport KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Rivers West RV Park, Myrtle Creek, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed 4 nights. River runs along side of park but it is not scenic and there is only one difficult access point. Most spaces filled by junky looking long term rvs. There are about a dozen large pull through sites reserved for folks passing through. Easy Interstate Highway access. Quiet. No WiFi or cable. No antenna reception. We camped at Rivers West RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Anderson Camp , Eden, Idaho

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Roads are dirt and narrow. Most sites are too short for my 40' 5th wheel. Initial site that I was assigned was shorter than the RV. Replacement site was barely long enough (truck parked elsewhere) and required tricky maneuvering to get it parked. Dreading trying to get out tomorrow morning. We camped at Anderson Camp in a Fifth Wheel.

Coronado Campground, Bernalillo, New Mexico

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Great value. 50 amp. Water. Paved level long site. No cable but could get good reception on 18 channels using antenna. Dump station was acceptable for my self contained unit. Highway 550 is very congested but we did not have a problem with noise and our site was closest to road. Walking distance to Rio GrandE and also shopping and food. Convienient to Albuquerque and Santa Fe. We camped at Coronado Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
