Big Spruce RV Park

Tillamook, Oregon

Date of Stay:

I called the park at 9:00 am on a Friday and we were immediately accomodated for the weekend. Our host was friendly and helpful with all our needs. When we arrived he let us chose the site we wanted and helped guide me in. Easy with 32' mh, could be tougher with larger rigs. Unhooking a tow'd before entering the park would be helpful if arriving on a busy weekend. This is an older park but seems nice and safe.

Everything others have said in previous reviews are true, this is one of the most beautiful parks in California situated right on the Klamath river. Most sites overlook the river (front in with a motor home.) Just a couple things to note so you can be prepared for your stay. Cell phone coverage is limited, I have Verizon and had to drive around the bend towards I-5 to get a signal. WiFi service is poor at best. These two combined can make it difficult to keep in touch with family and friends. Other then that, this park is paradise!

O'Nite Park

Red Bluff, California

Date of Stay:

This is an older RV park with many full time residents. Our host was very friendly and quite accommodating. The center area of the park is reserved for short term stays with 7 paved "double wide" pull through sites. Asphalt parking was somewhat level and the sites are landscaped with grass and medium size shade trees. He had us park in the 1st site near the clubhouse so we could use the internet with no problems. Please note when following the signs into the park, don't pull too close to the office when checking in. You will need to make a sharp right turn to get to the pull through area. There are two poles that you need to maneuver in between. It would have been easier if I had known this ahead of time so I could make a wide sweeping turn. (for those who can't back up with a toad like me!) If your looking for a 5 star gated resort, keep looking. This is a great overnight stay with a Walmart and grocery store a few blocks away. This was probably the cheapest place I have ever stayed at, a super value if you have Passport America.

Kit Fox RV Park

Patterson, California

Date of Stay:

Found this park to be a great value with Passport America. Only stayed here overnight, but was impressed with cleanliness and professionalism of staff. This is a newer park with clubhouse, it's far enough away from the freeway to be quiet and felt safe here.
