Burns RV Park, Burns, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Wish I could join the other glowing reviews about this park, but from our experience it would simply not be correct, by virtue of the very erratic power voltage. Our electrical management system repeatedly shut down our power due to very low voltage, thereby protecting our appliances from catastrophic damage. Ultimately, we gave up on 50 amp service and switched to 30 amp. We still were not able to operate our air conditioner on a regular basis due to low voltage. Also, the park is located on a very busy, noisy US highway. Noise does abate at night. All the other things previous reviewers have stated is correct: nice owners, plenty of shade, sites fairly level, etc. We camped at Burns RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Snake River RV Resort, Homedale, Idaho

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

A very pleasant park with nice shade trees and beautiful landscaping. Sites are right on the Snake River. They are long, grassy spaces with conveniently located utilities that functioned properly. The owner seems to run a 'tight ship' which is very much to our liking. To get to the park, you must drive through an industrial area, but you never even know it's there when you're in the park. No noise from that, or from the mobile homes that are also part of the facility. We camped at Snake River RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Heyburn Riverside RV Park, Heyburn, Idaho

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice city park adjacent to the Snake River. Sites are spacious and level with grassy area between spaces. All utilities are conveniently located and function appropriately. If you are 'noise sensitive' be aware that there are occasional low-flying aircraft, considerable traffic from the nearby highway, and watercraft on the nearby river. The park is immaculately maintained including very attractive landscaping. We camped at Heyburn Riverside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Round Valley RV Park (formerly Challis Valley RV Resort), Challis, Idaho

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

What a great value! Long, wide sites, minimal leveling required, utilities worked as expected. Quiet at night, park wifi better than average rv park. Neighborhood is not particularly scenic, but nothing terrible either; distant views of snow-covered mountains was very nice. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. We camped at Round Valley RV Park (formerly Challis Valley RV Resort) in a Fifth Wheel.

Wasatch View Estates and RV Park, Ogden, Utah

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Way too many speed bumps throughout the park. Sites toward the front of park fairly well kept, but deteriorate as you go back. Lots of weeds on unoccupied sites. Because it used to be a mobile home park, the sites are plenty large. The utilities worked fine. At the Passport America rate, it was okay, but would never pay full rate, and would probably not return. We camped at Wasatch View Estates and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Outlaw Trail RV Park, Jensen, Utah

Overall Rating:

Very nice, helpful owners, trying to make improvements to this fairly basic park. Good base to enjoy the many attractions in addition to Dinosaur National Monument. Spotless, reasonable laundry. Very attractive tent sites; nice playground for families with children. We camped at Outlaw Trail RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Shady, roomy sites. Better than average wifi. Nice park as a base to visit the many attractions in the area. Although there is a pet area, it is not fully enclosed so pets must remain on leash. Right on the Main Street through town, but minimal noise. We camped at Sundance RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Desert View RV Resort, Needles, California

Date of Stay: December, 2017 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Sites are level, extremely narrow although dense vegetation gives the illusion of privacy. In order to be centered on our 'patio' it was necessary to unhook and park our truck crossways in the site. Some highway and train noise. Okay for overnight but I would look for another option if we find ourselves in the area again, We camped at Desert View RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Cotton Lane RV & Golf Resort (55+ park), Goodyear, Arizona

Date of Stay: December, 2017 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We were in the 'overnighters section'. Long, level pull through sites were very narrow, but park wasn't full so it wasn't a big deal. Nice fenced dog run in this area. Utilities all worked as expected. Only real complaint is quite a lot of urban noise from nearby interstate and airport; this is more the nature of the beast given the park's location rather than any real shortcoming of the park itself. We camped at Cotton Lane RV & Golf Resort (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Beatty RV Park, Beatty, Nevada

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Clean, level pull through site with full hookups. Conveniently located water, sewer and electric worked fine. Wi-fi not very dependable. Very friendly manager checked us in, directed us to our site. All gravel, no frills, as are most parks in this part of Nevada. Perfect for an overnight stop except for the traffic noise from highway 95. There is a clean, reasonable laundromat onsite. We camped at Beatty RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Ely KOA, Ely, Nevada

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Better than average KOA. Our site was fairly level. Utilities functioned fine. Wi-fi was just ok, sometimes slowed down or completely dropped off. Nice dog park area. Very friendly, helpful personnel. Nice shade trees but a little trimming back of branches would be in order. Not crazy about KOA prices, but this park seemed to be the best option in the area. We camped at Ely KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Rock Creek RV Park, Twin Falls, Idaho

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Wonderful little county park that is a mix of pull through and back-in sites. Water and electric hookups, some 50 amp. No sewer or dump station on site, but there is a public dump station about a mile away. Ask the host for directions. Sites are reasonably level, gravel with grassy space between. As others have said, the entrance does look a little dicey. Just take your time going down the hill. Nice walking paths, close to the river. We have stayed here before and would definitely stay again if in the area. We camped at Rock Creek RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Mountain View RV Park, Arco, Idaho

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

Clean park with long enough level sites. All utilities functioned appropriately and were conveniently located. A good place to stay while visiting Craters of the Moon National Monument. Pretty expensive for what it is, but it is a decent enough park and that seems to be a given near any attraction these days. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
