Lions RV Park, Tyler, Texas

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Our experience was very good. This is a small very quiet park. They try to target a mature customer, and therefore don't have anything for small children. They do have a small private lake with fishing for customers as well as a paddle boat for free use. Each site has a table and there is a nice community pavilion and barbecue grill. The staff and owner were very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. There are a number of long term residents but all are very well kept sites and trailers. We would not hesitate to recommend them. We camped at Lions RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Bootheel RV Park and Event Center (formerly Hayti-Portageville RV Park, Portageville, Missouri

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

This is just a campgrounds for travelers, there is nothing to do at the campground or the area. However, the new owners were very friendly and eager to help. The sites were nearly all pull through, open but with many mature trees. The grounds were freshly mowed. The facilities were very clean. The showers appeared to be recently redone and were individual, which we prefer for privacy and security.

The only real concern is it is on a busy road and highway noise didn't let up all night. We camped at Bootheel RV Park and Event Center (formerly Hayti-Portageville RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
