Stayed overnight here in a 40 foot 5th wheel. The rate of 18.00is the Passport America rate. Interior roads are concrete. Sites are graveled and level. Convenient to I-40 and local restaurants. A good place if you need an overnight stay, with full hookups, and convenience off I-40. Lots of seasonal campers. Very good price, but sites are tight if you and your neighbors have slides out. We camped at Hidden Valley RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

The Ranch - Escapees Park (members only), Lakewood, New Mexico

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

This was our first escapes park and we loved it. Everyone was so friendly and included us in all activities. Some of the nicest people you will meet on the road. They placed us on a nice lot which had plenty of room for our 5th wheel and lots of room to park the truck beside. We camped at The Ranch - Escapees Park (members only) in a Fifth Wheel.

A Deming Roadrunner RV Park, Deming, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

Easy access on and off I-10 with plenty of room for big rigs. Free Wi-Fi and cable included. Full hookups with water, sewer, and electric. Basically a large gavel parking lots with lots of permanent residents. Managers were very nice. Park appears clean and we did not see any pet feces, even in the dog park. We travel with a small dog and the dog park was clean and well stocked with bags. We camped at A Deming Roadrunner RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Elks Lodge #218 (Members Only), Stockton, California

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This park has 8 RV sites with 50 amp, water, and a dump station. Easy access for big rigs. We parked our 40 foot fifth wheel here and had no problems, but we arrived early in the day before the parking lot filled up. Sites are paved, but some sites are sloped moderately. Great shopping in area. Would stay again. We camped at Elks Lodge #218 (Members Only) in a Fifth Wheel.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort, Missoula, Montana

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park with paved inner roads and flat, level, well graveled sites. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Park was very empty, but is is still early in the season. Easy access off I-90 and each site has a nice picnic table. As mentioned in other posts, the sewer connection is at the rear of the site. This posed no problem for us. We were at site #34 (close to clubhouse) and had excellent WiFi service. 20 channels on cable. Our 40 foot 5th wheel RV and truck filled the site completely from front to back. Nice space between sites. Would stay again. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Three Flags RV Park, Black Hawk, South Dakota

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great park ideally located to explore the Mount Rushmore/Rapid City area. The rate we paid was reflects the Passport America rate. Park was close to I-90, but road noise was not noticeable. Close to railroad track, but we saw only one train over the three days we were there. Sites were pull-thrus and no problem accessing sites even for our 40 foot 5th wheel. Well maintained park. Nice owner who was very helpful and friendly. Would stay again. We camped at Three Flags RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Washington Park, Sheridan, Wyoming

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

We called the Chamber of Commerce at 307-672-2485 and they verified that overnight camping was okay and free. The park is easy access for big rigs and is basically a graveled parking lot with inter-spaced trees and abutting a beautiful stream. When we arrived we were the only RV here. The local Sheriff patrolled the park, but did not stop and talk to us. There is a bathhouse which appears to be well maintained. No sewer hook-ups, but has a dump station. No electric hook-ups, but we have solar. No water hook-ups, but there is a water filing station that dispenses 12 gallons of water for 25 cents. Walmart just down the street and close to many restaurants. Great overnight stop and you can't beat the price. Would stay again. We camped at Washington Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Super 8 Motel / R & R Campground & RV Park, Mitchell, South Dakota

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Easy access off I-90. Friendly staff. We stayed here before they opened the pool, and restrooms, and got the $15.00 per night rate. All sites are pull-thrus. Camp host directed us to site 306 which was level and well graveled. Sites in this row (middle) are extra long for big rigs. Trees are well trimmed and turns are wide enough for all but the biggest of rigs. Excellent value for the price. Would stay again. We camped at Super 8 Motel / R & R Campground & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

W.H. Lyon Fairground, Sioux Falls, South Dakota

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Easy access off highway 29. Park was almost empty, but park hosts were very friendly and helpful and escorted us to our site. We asked for a pull-through (next to Stadium) and was escorted to an area opposite of the highway and train tracks. Subsequently, did not experience any of the highway noise mentioned in other posts. The $25 a night rate is the best we could find in Sioux Falls. The sites are grass, but the ground is firm. Even with recent rains and a heavy rig we did not sink into the ground at all. We felt safe in this park and would stay again. We camped at W.H. Lyon Fairground in a Fifth Wheel.

On-Ur-Wa RV Park, Onawa, Iowa

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Only planned on staying one night, but park was well maintained and the park owners went out of their way to make us feel welcome, so we stayed a week! This is a big-rig friendly park with no tight turns. Most sites are super long pull-throughs that are well graveled. There are lots of shade trees, but the trees are well maintained with no low branches. Park has a small dog park where you can let your dog off lease. We camped at On-Ur-Wa RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
