Signage to campground good. Watch turn into road to campground. Owners friendly and efficient. Access roads wide but could have done with a little more maintenance. Very car park type campground with limited landscaping. Sites were flat and long but due to recent snow thaw muddy. Electricity solid and water pressure good. Free WiFi worked well. Some road noise but only distant train noise unlike the rest of the campgrounds in the area. We camped at Grants / Cibola Sands KOA in a Motorhome.

If not careful could miss entrance to campground. Limited space to park and register. Owners friendly and efficient. Flat full-hook ups tightly spaced back-ins for transients with no real area to sit out. Extended stays had grass areas and wide sites which were better. Mobile home type clubhouse with limited facilities. Not dog friendly. Low rate because of Escapees 50% reduction on two nights. We camped at Sunny Acres RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Las Vegas, New Mexico KOA, Las Vegas, New Mexico

Date of Stay: December, 2007 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Signage to campground good. Limited place to park and register. Owners friendly and efficient. New pull-thru gravel based sites not very level but long enough for big rigs. However rest of site not big rig friendly. One way road around site had a number of tight curves, trees, etc. added to by snow on ground that had not been cleared. We backed out. Isolated country location, little road noise. We camped at Las Vegas, New Mexico KOA in a Motorhome.

Tiger Run RV Resort, Breckenridge, Colorado

Date of Stay: December, 2007 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Signage to campground excellent. Large area to park and register. Office staff friendly and efficient. Access roads to site were good despite the snow - they were regularly plowed. Our site was completely clear of snow. Large flat concrete pad with landscaping. Services were at back of site. Although water pipe heated and covered we had to regularly had to thaw out tap before filling our tank. Think campground owners should look at different design of water pipe to prevent this problem. Limited cable TV available. Excellent infrastructure. Would like to see the site in summer. We camped at Tiger Run RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This campground is halfway to Canon City in the foothills off US 115. Signage to campground was good. Good area to park and register. Office staff was friendly and efficient.
