I do a lot of fishing, and I'll tell you that this is one of my favorite places to camp. The Park manger's are the nicest people. They keep the place in good condiction. It's not a big campground, but that's what I like about it, there's a lot of peace & quiet. The kids can run & play without you being worried they'll get run over or hurt. And at night it's quiet, not a lot of hoopla being carried on. I camp there three or four times a year. Really, I could fill a whole page about how great this place is, if you want to go and relax, and get away from it all. TRY IT!!! You'll go back. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We love US Army Corps of Engineer Campgrounds. The only reason this one didn't get a 10 was because it is a little older than some of the surrounding Corps Parks. Some of the roads need minor repair work. Although no sewage hookups, this is a very clean campground. Almost half of the sites are directly on the river. The campground is isolated from town, which is nice. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
