An excellent place to camp with pull-through sites with great water views. Check in was very easy, roads paved and well maintained, and staff was most helpful. Our site was level and quite suitable for a handicapped person. Park was quiet and peaceful; no cell service or WiFi; no satellite or TV. This is definitely a place to "get away from it all." We camped here overnight. Rate reflects discount for veteran. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We camped here and attended MSU / AL baseball in Tuscaloosa. We found this to be a convenient location for that. Some sites require blocks to level. The biggest negative feature we found was the dump station is not close to the exit. You have to go toward the back to dump. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Sites 33, 35, 37, & 39 have decks overlooking the lake & its beautiful surroundings. Park staff were exceeding welcoming, friendly, & helpful. 30 amp electricity is as high as it gets. AT&T cell phone reception is spotty. Daily rate reflects senior discount of 15%. Hookups were a stretch & on the wrong side. We camped here in a Motorhome.
