Lots of pine trees with pine cones and sap, not good for TV reception, sites very long but tight on the sides due to the trees and how close the sites are to each other. Bathrooms were cold. We had items stolen from our site. Wireless internet is only good withing about 40 feet of the office. Would not stay there again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice out of the way campground with a lot of potential. Hurricane Ivan took its toll and there are still some "clean-up" workers living there, but we still enjoyed our Thanksgiving holiday visit. Large, level sites with plenty of trees. The host and their family were great, everyone was super friendly. There were quite a few "snowbirds" either there for the winter or for a few days. I will be going back. The approach road was rough but explainable with all the heavy equipment moving in and out due to the clean up efforts. That fact should not deter anyone from enjoying the campgrounds. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Also Passport America park. One of the best kept secrets of the south. We really like this park!!!! It is close to Pensecola and the Naval Air Station (the Blue Angels), Mobile along with the USS Alabama as well as the Gulf of Mexico. The campsites are huge and nestled in the pines. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful. Only complaint is the bumpy, dusty gravel access road to the park. We have camped here on numerous trips for extended times and will definetly return We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We've been going to the Gulf Coast since 1989, but with an RV since 2001 and just last year learned of this place. This is the second time we have stayed here. We were there in 5/06 and then this year. We like it very much. The people are nice and friendly, the area is well landscaped, and kept clean. My only complaint is that their wi-fi service is terrible. I hear they're working to make it better. Currently you can hook up, but then it's such a low signal strength that you can't do anything. Other than that it's s great place. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Camped in the newer area as I wanted a pull through (late evening arrival to a park I have never visited). NICE park, friendly people, enjoyed the board walk and "nature trail".. a fire ring along with some shade trees would have completed an otherwise quite enjoyable short stay. More permanent folks than campers.. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Another case of misleading advertising. Web site shows many photos of water area, leaving one to believe that this campground is on Wolf Bay. To see water, you must walk down board walk a long ways through the woods, and then it is only a backwater. Campground has old, nicely landscaped and wooded area, and a new, "built in an open field" area. We had a real nice site in old area. Would not camp in new area. Some park models, but lots are real big. Quiet and friendly place. We camped here in a Motorhome.
