This one of the most beautiful campgrounds I have ever seen. It is immaculate with paved roads and sites. We were here in early spring and the scenery was nothing short of spectacular. A kayak rental shack is near the lake. A great ATV, bike, or hike trail goes along the lake for about 12 miles. Weekends fill up fast and it's a 10 mile road from the main highway, but worth it if you get a site. Most sites are well spaced and heavily wooded with tables and fire rings. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Quiet campground close to Anchorage. All sites are well separated with natural vegetation. It is very close to the beautiful Eklutna lake. We didn't have the time, but there are a lot of hikes in the area and kayak renting. No water connection (only a water pump) nor dump station. We camped here in a Motorhome.
