For a full hook up RV park with 30 amp electric service, an easy walk to downtown, a laundromat, and public showers, this is the only place to stay! There are 5 level, hard gravel sites in a clean, residential setting, with a friendly camp host, and Wi-Fi at a modest price. We camped here in a Truck Camper.

This is not an RV park. It is a shale driveway. The property is littered with garbage cans and boat parts. Truck containers line the rear of the property. The writeup delivered to your email is a tribute to creative writers everywhere. Neither the owners or "guides" are ever around. We paid online for reservations and never once saw anyone. The restrooms/showers are at the laundromat in town so if you aren't self contained you're going to be in trouble. Wi-Fi might be available if you were able to find someone to give you the password. This place is terrible. If I could give this "park" less than a "1" rating I would. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a tiny little park with only 5 sites and no restroom facilities. 4 of the 5 sites would accommodate large rigs. The campground is affiliated with Alaska Waters, Inc. They provide tours to AnAn Bear Viewing Observatory, Stikine River Trips, Glacier Tours and others. The owners are very nice and while we were here the Wi-Fi was lightning fast! Wrangell is a very small, quaint island where most of the businesses are closed on Sunday. We stayed here for 6 nights and enjoyed our stay. We drove to Pats Lake, Nemo Point and Salamander Creek Rec. If you are looking for a slower paced, Alaskan community this fits the bill. ** If you go to Wrangell be sure to take the AnAn Bear Viewing trip. It was awesome! We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice, quiet spot in the trees, through which the water is visible and the eagles were flying, made for a pleasant stay. Ranger (a city employee) stopped by our first morning to deliver a very informative welcome packet! Gravel roads and sites, some reasonably smooth and level, others not so much. Convenient water and electric hookups; no sewer, but free dump station just down the road at Heritage Harbor. Rest rooms are a bit of a hike and not particularly appealing. No showers at the campground, but campers can use the excellent rec center facility (including pool) for no additional charge. No Wi-Fi and cell phone coverage is spotty. We camped here in a Motorhome.
