As the previous reviewer noted this is a nice park, its primary drawback being the dirt roads and relatively unlevel sites. A few loads of gravel would do wonders. We managed to use our MH's levelers to get level but it maxed them out. On the other hand, our site was huge and private. The trees and plantings are attractive but don't hinder satellite access. The park's WiFi is awful (they say it became worse after the recent floods) but there is a strong cellular signal and we used that for internet access. The workamper hosts were very friendly and helpful. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a fairly new RV campground located in rural southern Alberta approximately 35 minutes east of Okotoks. Located just off highway 24 there is some light traffic noise but nothing disturbing. The older sites with the more mature trees are closer to the highway and therefore subject to more of the traffic. However, I did notice that being in the prairies, where the land is pretty flat, you can hear vehicles coming and then going for an awful lot longer! The gravel sites are sufficiently long enough to handle most big rigs with ease. Our site was equipped with 30 amp power supply, water, and sewer. The sewer was somewhat odd in that the top of the pipe was about 12" above ground level. Many of the sites, including mine, wasn't level from either front to back or left to right. Also on each site was a fire ring with grate and a new looking picnic table with bench seats. In the newer area the sites were separated by shrubs and bushes that provided some degree of privacy. Colour was provided by the abundance of dandelions growing uncontrolled everywhere. The roads around the site are simply dirt tracks, and as we arrived during a torrential downpour, there were some deep pools of muddy water. This also meant that it would be likely to track dirt easily into the trailer. The washrooms were very clean and tidy, but the showers are pay -as-you-go. $1(cnd) for about 2 minutes. Unfortunately, adding two loonies simultaneously doesn't give you double the time. Only one coin per operation! The lady in the office was very pleasant and helpful as was the other staff member I chatted to. Firewood is available from the office as are several other last minute supplies. Around the campground are several old, restored railroad carriages and trains. There is also a nearby restaurant in one of these. Wi-fi is free but weak even close to the office. After signing in to the wi-fi you get 30 minutes before being dropped, after which you can get back in again any number of times but only in the 30 minute blocks. In a few more years time, this campground has the potential to be a marvelous place once the roads are fixed up and the sites leveled a little more. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We spent four nights here and really liked it. Nicely maintained campground (impeccably clean washrooms). It was very obvious that lots of energy has gone into building this relatively new campground. In a few more years when some of the trees mature and provide shade, this will be high on our list of recommended campgrounds in the area. Only knocks would be very poor Wi-Fi and I wished they would have used a finer aggregate for the campsites. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
