We stayed at this camp ground for a month and kept our boat in a slip at marina. The resort is about 20 miles south of Lake Havasu City Center a bit more than the 10 miles we were told when we made our reservation. The registration office closes promptly at 5:00 pm. We arrived at 5:05 with no one to greet us. This resort occupies a nice place on Lake Havasu, we had reserved a waterfront site R038 and boat slip B041 and received a confirmation in November of the prior year. When we arrived our assigned RV unit had another rig in it. We had been warned if a 3 month reservation was received we might loose our waterfront site to them. We parked the boat and trailer at the marina and found ourselves and open site off water and set up camp. The boat trailer area is not large enough to park both a vehicle and boat trailer together, so if you do not have a slip you may need to park a boat at your site. We found our neighbors both friendly and helpful. This is an older camp ground with small unkept roads which are difficult but not impossible for larger rigs to maneuver in and the resort its self is in need of maintenace. The individual units are small, graveled, crowded sites with covered cement patios. We found it a bit unaccommodating as everything we asked for at the office we were given an unfriendly no for an answer. When we inquired about the waterfront site we were told R038 was not our site number but our reservation number. Our confirmation papers clearly stated different numbers for reservation, site and slip numbers. We later saw site R038 had been vacated, indicating the occupant probably had not had the 3 month reservation required to bump us, but that a reservation mistake had been made. The park store carried very little in the way of supplies. The restaurant served very good food however. We found the laundry in adequate. Washing is only a $1.00, but the dryers only operate on 110 and take a long long time and money to dry clothes. We eventually did our laundry at Lake Havasu City. We did not receive any schedule of park events as we later learned should have been give out at registration. There are snowbird activities in which others are not invited. The Marina was adequate, but only had double boat slips. We camped here in a Truck Camper.
