We liked this campground . The sites have concrete pads, level, w gravel between the pads and grass around it. All sites have trees, but they are still small. There are no showers or restroom, as the facility was built for the oil and pipeline workers who had self contained rigs. Wi-Fi worked well at our site. The owner was the most fun. He is: a retired pipeline welder with many stories and experiences. Very quiet, basic campsite. We would definitely return. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Although this is not the kind of park we usually prefer, it's proximity to Harding University, and the reasonable rate made it acceptable. When we arrived, the host met us and he is a very nice person. His first action was to offer some peaches he had with him. Normally we like state parks and corp of engineer parks, something less crowded. This park is close together but turned out to be quiet and peaceful. We would use this park in the future without any worries. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Whitney Lane RV is a friendly rural park. It is only about 4 miles from Harding College in Searcy AR, which is north of Little Rock. There is a pipeline being installed in the area and many of the campers here are workers. All occupied sites were neat. There were no poorly maintained RVs in the campground. He still maintains some short term sites. Although there is no playground or swimming pool, I did see several children in the park as well as many small dogs. Sites have concrete runner pads with a concrete patio. The interior roads are gravel. Owner lives across the street. There are trees but many are still young. The laundry room was clean and well maintained. We were here to visit relatives in the area and will definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
The owner is nice and helpful. The park has no bathrooms. There are no amenities. There is a new laundry. It is a safe, clean park. We camped here in a Motorhome.
