The place is beautiful and very well kept. Sites are paved. They are a bit short but long enough for a big rig if you back all the way to the curbs. We had to park the truck diagonal across the front but there was room. A dump is available but no sewer connection at the sites. Rate shown is the basic rate. There is a 25% discount for people over 62 if out of state. For in state residents, that is a 50% discount. We will certainly return if in the area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Very nice park-like setting along the White River. Level camp sites. Nice restroom facilities well cared for. Ranger ladies at check-in were friendly and helpful. Lots of Civil War history in the area and the park itself. Evidently they bring in a paddle wheel boat and moor it near the boat launch on the river and you can go aboard and tour it. It was not there when I was. Must have been too early in the season. We camped here in a Motorhome.
