We have stayed here many, many times and loved it. Now it is a trailer park for permanent residents. There were only 2 spots vacant on a Wed. All others permanent in tents or campers. One camper had attached a tarp to his camper and one of the bathrooms, made it into his personal add-on. Trashy, lots of outside stuff. We went to another park and loved it, and it was cheaper. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Sites narrow and all back in. Not very well kept. Do not get the site next to the dump station. It smells really bad. Lots of long term residents and their belongings. Staff was not real friendly. The perks is the area. Beautiful parks, covered bridge, walking paths, dog park, convenient to interstate. We stayed one night but would not go back. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice park. We stopped overnight. The road to it is narrow and 20 MPH. Park was full but we lucked out. The host called the person who had the site left and they said they weren't coming. We would stay again. Restrooms & Showers were clean. Site was level with asphalt was long enough for our 40 foot but parked the car beside. Our site was right in front of the access. Park roads were asphalt. Plenty of space between sites. Our Internet worked fine. It was a quiet park and we didn't notice any noise. Park seemed to be well maintained. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Several sites were not usable. Some did not have electricity to them. No one was on site when I arrived and I had called to reserve a site, but the reserved signs had no names on them. The site I was finally directed to had the water outlet so low you couldn't get a regulator on without getting it in the dirt. The electric outlet had been also mounted so low that they had mounted it upside down. They had to break off the cover before I could plug in. The sewer dump was on the wrong side of the road which forced people to drive the wrong way on a one way road. This was not a clean park. There was water standing in various places. It was convenient to the BMX track where we wanted to be so we stayed the one night. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stopped over for one night and were pleased with the campground. Some sites weren't so level, so be sure to select in advance. Ours was a nice, level, paved pad with mature pines to either side. Hosts were friendly and access to I-40 was good. A nice, quiet night. We didn't have any time to explore the larger Burns Park, but golf course and biking trails looked inviting. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This CG would be packed if it had sewer hookups. They were installing new bathrooms when we visited. Burns park is very large, if you like biking, hiking, walking, tennis, golf, soccer, birding, etc you will like the immensity of this park. They even have 3 separate enormous fenced dog runs down by the river. Very easy access off the highway, some road noise can be heard. And yes you do need to drive the wrong way to dump, i would not have been happy if another RV was trying to exit as I was coming around the wrong direction with my 42 foot MH. We will stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nightly rate for 50 amp hookup is $20 w/$2 discount given for any type of membership (Good Sam, FMCA, etc ), 50 amp sites are #'s 1-9 & #38. All the rest of 30 amp. Water at all sites & dumpstation located the wrong way on a one way street for most campers (no problem to go the wrong way - you are actually directed to do so by the manager). Campground is heavily treed - most sites will not allow a satellite connection even with free standing unit. All networks come in on antennea. Our verizon aircard worked great here for internet service. Conveniently located to sites in Little Rock. I picked this campground over others so the husband could play the 2 golf courses located in the park - he played neither, as they were in pretty poor condition ( ocals he spoke to indicated that they are not well maintained year round - so it wasn't a seasonal issue). We camped here in a Motorhome.

If not for the rest rooms this would be a great place. It is still great for one or two nights and site 17 is a long back in that gives you a view of the southwest sky for satellite. Local TV is fine. There is a dump station but you have to go the wrong way on a one way loop to use it. Don't worry everybody does. There is free Wi-Fi in downtown North Little Rock. Just park outside the library or go to the coffee place. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park has large campsites, is convenient to I40, and was our base for exploring Little Rock and the Clinton Presidential Library. It was easy to get in and out, and the campground host was very friendly. I would rate it higher if it had sewer hookups. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We agree with all the recent 8's. We paid the off season rate of $80 for a week and added 2 extra nights at $16. Played both courses, both nice, one fairly open and easy, the other host's the Arkansas Open every year. As mentioned there is all kinds of things to do in this park and a great place to spend some time. The downtown area of N Little Rock has open Wi-fi provided by the city. We came so we could have our mail forwarded to us and order a part for the RV. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice woodsy park with easy access to I-40. Depending on the site, you may have to go the wrong way on a one-way street to the dump station because the dump station is on the wrong side. The staff will tell you it's okay to do this. Quiet and restful campground. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Pretty nice campground, has a state park or Corps of Engineers feel to it. Very large, widely-spaced sites. Could be maintained a little better, there was some trash around, like a big wet cardboard box lying next to our site. Very quiet and peaceful, you'd never know you were just off the interstate. Front desk folks were as friendly as they could be. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

The campground is located in the midst of the 1400 acre Burns Municipal Park. All of the site are in the trees. There is adequate room between the sites. The restrooms were clean but they are very dated and in extreme need of an update. The other facilities in the park including two 18-hole golf courses and scores of athletic fields are very well kept up so it is unfortunate that they do not put much of a priority on the campground facilities. There is a walking/biking path along the river that goes all of the way to North Little Rock and also crosses the river and goes to Little Rock. There are also miles and miles of hiking trails in the park. Overall it is a great place to stay. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice large shaded sites with lots of room to enjoy the natural setting. Fairly quiet with very minimal noise from I-40. Plenty of outdoor activities available. Restaurants and shopping require a little driving and searching. Great deal for the money. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Very large park, big sites. Reminds me of a state park, but run by the city. Nice picnic table and fire ring. The restrooms and showers were rustic. They were clean enough, but the type of thing that reminds you of scout camp. It was a great jumping off point for sightseeing in Little Rock. We stayed two nights. Very private. This is a lovely little campground in a large public park. The sites all appeared to be spacious and shady, and the campground hosts were super friendly. They have no website, so you need to call them up and make a reservation over the phone. It is a nice, basic, natural-setting campground, with wildlife and nice places to walk and bike. When you get out into the larger park there are lots of activities, such as bocce ball, soccer, dirt bike courses -- you name it. The park puts most cities to shame. Best of all (at least to us!) it has one of the nicest dog parks I have ever seen, with three separate very large, shaded and clean fenced areas. This is a long walk or a short drive from the campground and there is a map posted to show you how to get to the various amenities. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Wonderful park. Large hardwood trees, sites well spaced, quiet. Trees trimmed so there were no problems with a tall rig. We wished we could have spent more time here. Grey water through a small hose is allowed only on the outside loop in the woods. There is a dump station onsite. This is right off I-40 and about a half mile towards the river. Convenient for an overnight stay, better to stay 2 days. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This was our third stay at this park. It is all about the convenience and the view. The office staff is very friendly. It is a good value. There is no landscaping or pool. The WiFi is dependable. Security is excellent. It is a city owned property and they have done a good job in providing basic services in a great location. We will stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Rate is for a river front spot. Sea wall is only $15. Pretty view from the spot BUT no privacy as everyone comes and hangs out right behind the RV's to enjoy the river. This is a fenced and gated park owned by the city. It's in a rough area of town but we felt perfectly safe. The location is the reason to stay, right across the river from the Clinton Library which is a must see regardless of your politics. Wonderful bridge you can walk across to get to the library. The Arkansas river is fun with all the barges going down. Bathrooms are odd, sort of a portable. We stayed two nights and would stay again only for location. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

If location is everything then you can't do any better. The CG is a parking lot with W,E,and S and a little grassy area close to the river. Security is heavy as it is in a seedy part of town. You are near walking trails that take you over the river, past the presidential library and on into the downtown area. Very nice walk. We would come again as there really isn't anything else closer. Absolutely delightful, clean, basic park next to the Arkansas River. Rate is PPA. Sites are mostly level gravel; some puddles in the rain, but no mud. Good, grass dog walking area along river. Nice park in downtown area across river from Clinton Presidential Library and Little Rock. Has sites directly on the river for motor coach or 5th wheel views. This is a smaller city campground, right on the bank of the river, and across the river from Little Rock. It's a very secure park, surrounded by a wall and locked at nite with a code for the gate. Perfect place for adults who want to stay close to the city and see the sights. Not much to do on the campground itself, but there's a nice riverfront park you can walk to. I'd have rated it higher if it had more amenities. I'd stay here again when in Little Rock. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Level gravel sites. Great power. Near to all attractions. We rode .7 to town, free parking at the town services building. For 50 cents took the trolly loop and got a good narrated tour of the historic district. You can get a 2.00 day pass and ride to the Library and get on and off all day for shopping and restaurants, The night time river view is beautiful. The free Wi-Fi is good. Our Passport America price was actually $11.50. Only con is shared hookups , we are on the correct side but a possibility of having to pull in with no view if you need to use the FHO's and nothing available, this mostly applies to the PPA sites. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Pulled in after dark, park easy to find. Office staff very friendly, site was great & easy to get into. Wi-Fi worked well & park was amazingly quiet. Sunrise walk on the river was awesome. We didn't want to leave, but warmer climates were waiting for us down the road. Will stay here again & have recommended this park to all our "winter Texan" friends who travel that way. This park is a parking lot with services, which worked well. The rate is Passport America, actually $11.56/nt. It is an easy walk to some of the attractions. A note for Shaw Satellite customers, I could not get my dish to work. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park has exceptional access to anywhere you want to go in the central Arkansas area. The view of the river and the skyline is spectacular. This park could really be a jewel in the city's crown with landscaping, better Wi-Fi, and cable TV. The Police patrol regularly and the park is fenced. We will stay here again. There is just nothing negative to say! What a hidden gem. It would be nice to this park listed or linked to Little Rock as it doesn't show up very easily. Staff is friendly, WiFi is fast and free, power is solid, our site was very level left to right. Beautiful view of the river and downtown Little Rock. The is a museum with the USS Razorback submarine and a lot of artifacts. Sub tour was great. The Clinton library is a walk across a bridge. Easy access from I-30, IF you use the physical address and NOT the GPS database. This is a city owned park and runs very smoothly. We will stop anytime we travel through the area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

I read every recent comment about this park before making our reservation. All past comments are true. This park is a great place to stay for 1 or 2 nights. Does not offer anything for kids, but we were only here for convenience to Downtown Little Rock. Friendly staff, clean restroom/shower area (although did not use) and gorgeous view of river! Not sure why they put a fifth wheel right next to us when there were several other spots available. This blocked our view, but that is our only complaint! We camped here in a Motorhome.

We are Little Rock natives, so were excited to be right downtown in the middle of the action. The campground itself is not a destination campground, but is clean and very well managed. The choice of sites and pricing was confusing, but the Passport American sights definitely did not look desirable, so we chose to pay more and were right up on the river nose in. It was a beautiful site and we were close to the dog walk. Now for the great part: the bike path is amazing and begins and ends right here at the park. LR have done an amazing job of developing the riverfront for leisure and exercise and we could not have been more impressed. We will definitely stay here again! We camped here in a Motorhome.

Within walking distance to Clinton Presidential Museum which my wife wanted to visit. The park was not easy to find and we had to ask a local resident to lead us to the park. Not much shade but the nighttime reflection of downtown Little Rock on the river was beautiful. The host were very friendly and nice and we felt secure. It suited our needs for an overnight stay and we would stay there again since we now know where it is located. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Good quiet location near the city and historic sights, on the river, which helped offset the stark coarse gravel & rock sites with no trees or grass. There are grass areas near the river with benches, bird houses and doggie bags. Walking distance to streetcar tour route. The view of the Clinton Museum & Library, wetlands, and city park is beautiful. Office staff is very friendly. Locked gates at night. Security gate access to the biking/walking bridge across the Arkansas river is a bonus. Portable public bathrooms. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is an interesting park with lot of potential, but they just didn't execute well. Who ever designed this campground knew nothing about campgrounds. It's a city run park, so I assume the city designed it. They placed the sewer and electric connection all the way at the end of the site and the sewer connection is about 8" off the ground. You will need an extension on your sewer hose if you want to use it and some slinky(S) to raise your hose. Also if you're unlucky you might be on the side where your do opens to the sewer and the lovely smell as they put all the connections in a shared spot. My neighbor had to run two sewer hoses under his camper to get to the sewer. On the plus side, you can walk or bike to most attractions and they take nearly any discount card. Passport America people get stuck with the worst spots along the concrete wall. Electric was good, water pressure was good, Wi-Fi was not great. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is the most convenient Passport Park I have ever stayed in. It is within walking distance to the downtown area of North Little Rock and Little Rock. There is a bridge that you can walk across to Clinton Library. The Skyline of Little Rock is beautiful. The river traffic is fun to watch. The Passport sites are back-ins with 50 amp elect, water and sewer for only $11.56. Most Passport Camp Grounds are so far off the freeways, and this one is close to I-30 and I-40. It's a good stopping point no matter which direction we are going. We have stayed here many times and will be back again We camped here in a Motorhome.

While we were here, I saw a fold out tent trailer on the site, so they must allow these. The walkway and bike path is the big plus for the campground. As a PA we were required to hook up with sewer, water and power on the right side so that we tripped over the hoses as we got out. This is not a problem in the center sites as you can park either direction. On the wall sites ( 43 - 62), you have no option. There is only one each combination bath / toilet for men and women. This is an issue if the park is full. It is a good overnight park. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

OK for a day or two, or if you have business in the area, but certainly not a vacation spot. 50 amp electric only, so bring an adapter for 30 amp. Riverside location is pretty, but there is constant noise from the adjacent highway bridge. City boat launch next door. Level gravel spots with shared hookup islands. Not cramped, but not spacious. No significant shade. Convenient walk across a pedestrian bridge to the Clinton Presidential Library and the River Market, but everything in Little Rock pretty much closes down on Sundays. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Not much to add to the previous reviews. Nothing has changed since we last stayed here in Sept. 2010. The rate quoted is for Passport America. For that you get full hookup, 50A electric in a back in against a concrete wall. Odd numbered sites have the hookups on the correct (left) side but even sites are on the other (right) side requiring running cables and hoses under the RV. Since it's wide open, all sites are good for satellite. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We like this campground. We agree with everything the previous poster said. The park is a gravel parking lot, but the riverfront location more than makes up for it. Nice grassy area next to the river where benches are set up for you to use to enjoy the views. You can walk over the new pedestrian bridge from the campground to the Clinton Library. The downtown area has many attractions to visit and the riverfront area has been developed with 17 miles of biking/walking trails, with many restaurants. The staff is very friendly, dogs are welcomed with pick up bags provided, with plenty of grassy area to walk. Sprint Hot spot worked well and no problem with satellite reception. If you don't need to use the restrooms this is a great choice of campgrounds for near Little Rock. The campground itself is clean and attractive with very nice large level sites by the Arkansas River. We stayed in a pull through which was like staying in the parking lot BUT we had great views of river and at night we were right next to Little Rock skyline reflecting in river. You can easily walk to the Clinton Presidential Library and gardens and are within a mile of many restaurants. Nice place to walk dog and have baggies for your use. I would definitely stay here again for a few days but the restrooms are not great. They are industrial boxes set down with one toilet for men and one for women. I did not use women's restroom but husband said at first the men was OK but then a cretin went in and urinated on floor. The attendant warned me that sometimes the shower door does not latch well and water comes out and there was a mop nearby to clean it up.. That was enough for me to confine myself to camper facilities for a night. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We found this RV Park by goggling North Little Rock. The park is pretty full of construction trailers but we were parked in the overflow with water and electric. The location is about 5 miles from the Clinton Library. It's an easy off and on to I-40. Dog walking is not convenient as the road in front is busy. This is a basic park with little landscaping but a wonderful view. We spent two nights at $27 a night to get a riverfront view and one night with Passport America to get the $10 rate. There is a great walking/bike trail, easy walk across a new pedestrian bridge to the Clinton Library and river views that are awesome. Actually this is a decent RV park. It looks to me that the city used construction fill to man-make the park along the river and then put a QP over the top to make it level. It does have a nice view of the city on the other side of the river. Only problem is that it only offers 2 30A sites. Everything else is 50A. They will lend you a "50A to 30A converter" for a $20 deposit. There is grass along the river with park benches to walk the dog. The bath/shower are pre-fab out buildings that are OK if you need them. The air TV signals are great. Not bad at all for an over-night stay. It looks like mostly Class A and 5th wheels stay here. We parked right on the bank of the river with the city directly across. Interesting location right downtown. Quite a bit of noise from the nearby interstate but no surprise being so close to town. Easy access to lots of points of interest nearby. Staff was not overly exited to deal with customers but we just shrugged it off. Rate reflects PA. PA campers are placed in the back or along the fence with no sewer. There is no shade except for a couple of trees along the river. Park has a nice night time view of the city. I agree with most of the previous positive postings. Management is very helpful with local information and tips to make the most of your stop. The electric tram is a nice way to get your bearings in visiting the various museums as they have drivers who give a brief talk as you pass the sights. We will stay here if we pass through again. The noise from the interstate can be heard in the early mornings as it cools off and the A/C shuts down and the morning traffic picks up. Note that only 50amp hookups are available: be sure to bring an adapter if you need less. We didn't find the freeway noise to be objectionable. You probably won't hear it over your AC if inside. Very friendly, very helpful folks in the office. Water pressure's a little low: 40lb. Park is on the river side of the flood wall, so be aware of the river levels. New pedestrian bridge across the river from the park to the Clinton Library will be open by fall 2011, making it even more convenient to Little Rock's tourist areas. If you need to be near Little Rock City or playing tourist, then this is a good place to be. The campground is within walking distance to the trolley or you could walk over the bridge to all of the major attractions. The interior road is paved and the sites are on gravel. The back-in sites near the sea wall are all W/E all other sites are FHU. There is a dump station on site. The electricity was good. Wi-Fi is free but we did not use it. Verizon air card and phone worked well. There are two bathroom/shower rooms (male/female) and were clean. The pedestals for the back-in sites near the sea wall are a bit odd. If you have an even numbered site, then the utilities are not on the correct side. You will need to run your electrical cord and water hoses underneath your rig to get to the utilities. The pedestals in the center row are for 4 rigs. There are no lines to delineate each rig and it could get very crowded if all of the sites were filled. All sites have 50 amp service. You must bring a 50 – 30 amp reducer if you are using only 30 amps. After 9 PM, the gates are closed but the camp host will give you the access code. My only gripe is that this park can get very, very crowded if it was filled. The price reflects the Passport America price (valid for 3 days). We would come back to the park if we were in the area. This park is a great find! We opted for the full hookup rather than no sewer because once we were there, we decided to stay a few days. It is right on the banks of the Arkansas River with great views; pea size gravel sites (4 on a hook up pod when busy, otherwise side by side pull throughs -- if facing correct way, no hook up problems); 7 mile bike/walking trail along the river with great parks; North Little Rock downtown is revitalized. The Starving Artist on Main has the best food we've had in a long time; $2 all day on/off pass for trolley transportation (buy at RV office -- they have all you need to know for touring) was wonderful for touring both N.orth Little Rock and Little Rock. Flying Saucer is great beer joint!; take a river cruise; see the Clinton Library. There is a great staff; facilities are limited for bath and wash; nice pavilion; some road noise; gated, lighted, secure; easy on/off (call for directions into park -- behind flood wall but easy to negotiate). We will be back! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Most all that needs to be said about the park has been said in previous writings. The location is easy to find if you check the reference map. I found the directions in the PA book were hard to understand. We were given a spot near the rear under an old railroad bridge. W/E no sewer. It is a convenient location to stay to visit downtown Little Rock. Nice park on the river. Great place to see the tugs and barges moving up and down river. The roads are asphalt and sites are all gravel. Site was very close to level, had water and 50 amp outlet only on each site with no dips in voltage. Site was on back wall (PPA Sites) and could be a small problem to hookup if you have the even number site (hookups will be on wrong side). Sites on the first two rows are side by side hookups with water, 50 amp outlet for each site, and sewer drops. Nice view of the river. You can hear some road noise from I-30. Gates are locked at night but you have a code number to get back in. Park is a great place to tour Little Rock, walk, or ride bikes into river park, around 2 miles long. We could pick up a number of TV channels over the air. Wi-Fi is free and works all over the park. You can pick up Wi-Fi from River Market across the river from here and I-30 River Park on this side of the river, all free. I found nine Wi-Fi systems on line from our site. Verizon cell and air card also worked well. You can ride the city street car over to Little Rock and visit the city, pick up tickets at the park office. Lots of good places to eat in city, a nice city to tour. Rate was on PPA. Staff was nice at check in. We camped here in a Motorhome.

So far as convenience to downtown, this place would be a 10. So far as shade, it is a 1. In the hot summer, even the river wind doesn't cool this place off. There is one consideration which forced me to give this place a 3. In an attempt to save money, they force two coaches to share electricity, water and sewer hookups. I could live with the "wrong" side electricity and water. But if you are in an even numbered spot, you have to pass your sewer hose under the coach to use it. This means you WILL spill junk and crud all over the gravel, hopefully to sink into the ground without stinking up the place. This unsanitary inconvenience alone downgrades the overall quality of this campground. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is very convenient if you are a walker to go over to the River Walk, the walking bridge, and the Clinton Library. If you are not a walker, you can catch the trolley and take a tour of the area. The sites are gravel and there is no grass at the pull through sites. After having read the earlier reviews of this park, I wasn't sure I was going to enjoy camping here, but I sure did! This is a very nice campground that is getting better as they go along. The check-in process was smooth and the camp operators were very friendly and helpful. The park was gravel when I was there, but they are upgrading to a paved loop this week. All of the utilities are top notch and hook up was a breeze. The park is about 200 yards from the I-30 river bridge and there is some road noise, but with my air unit on, I didn't notice it. The Wi-Fi is a city-run public system that is free, but there are banner ads generated at the top of each new page you open. You can close the ads, but each new page brings a new ad. Wi-Fi speed was pretty good though. The only downside, is the lack of cable TV for the park. I have a portable satellite system in my trailer, so it wasn't a problem for me. Those without satellite need to bring their HD antennas for local TV. Just past the river bridge to the west, there is a river walk that is very nice for walking, jogging or bicycling. This is a nice campground and it will only get better as the city of North Little Rock continues to upgrade the facilities. Enjoy! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This place is hard to rate. All it is is a big parking lot with no amenities. But, it's right on the Arkansas River. There are things to see within walking distance. Very few 30 amp sites, but they gave me an adapter to use. The people in the office are very nice: took me to my site. The Wi-Fi worked well. No cable but I could get 5 or 6 TV stations. The owners just opened this park in Oct '08 and are working to improve it. The whole place is being paved. In fact, the trucks were here at 7:30 am to start work! The women's bathroom/shower was closed because the water was turned off. They offered to let me use the men's. It's a fine place to stay overnight or to see the local sites as long as the RV park isn't meant to be the destination. My rate was based on Escapees or military discount of 15%. This is a new RV Park in downtown North Little Rock, Ar. It is located right on the Arkansas River where fishing and boating are encouraged. Perminate buildings are not allowed in that area therefore there are no restrooms. It is located within walking distance of all of downtown North Little Rock and most of Little Rock. We checked this fairly new park out yesterday. It's a no thrills park, large blacktop area right on the Arkansas River in downtown North Little Rock. Totally fenced and secured with a key pad gate. It's located right at the start of the Arkansas River Trail and Riverside Park. This would be a great place for doing stuff in North Little Rock or just across the river in Little Rock, every thing would be just minutes away. This was a clean, typical, older KOA. Interior roadways were very tight, and sites were small (we just fit on our back in). We had to wait on a motorhome on the site across from us to leave the next morning before we could get out of our site. Staff were friendly and helpful. Just a little disappointed with the overall appearance of the park. Although we had paved site, the grass looked as if they had not cut it this year. Restrooms, baths very clean. Did not visit the pool - so will not comment. At the time I was not KOA member, so my rent was $49, a little over priced. Now, KOA member and will comment on other parks during our trip west. We pulled in and it appeared to be a very attractive park - nicely laid out with great trees. The positives stopped there when we realized that the park was jammed up right against the freeway. We pulled into our spot (a pull thru) easily enough and then realized that there was an enormous pothole at the front right-hand side of the spot. We had to talk to staff 4-5 times before they would fill it, which was going to be necessary for us to get out of the site two days later. The swimming pool was not filled with water. The KOA web site say that the pool opens April 13th and this was May 13, so we were not happy. Then we went to take a shower and there was no water pressure, because now they are filling the pool. They were filling the pool during the day when people need water and they hadn't notified anyone. We asked them to stop the pool filling so that we could do laundry and they grudgingly agreed for awhile. This campground suffers from lack of planning and grouchy staff. And, for the first time in 8 months of travel, the cable TV was terribly fuzzy and wasn't usable. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We've stayed at this park multiple times. This KOA has been better in the past, but was not very good this visit. When we arrived, they were doing some work on a water line. No one mentioned this to us until we hooked our utilities up and noticed the water coming out of our faucets was full of dirt and we got to flush both the water lines and then our trailer water lines. They have two dog parks. One dog park is hardly more than a 4' x 10' fenced area along a cliff that is very, very smelly. The other dog park is much larger and a picnic table and used to have a shade covering over the picnic area. This visit the shade covering was broken in multiple pieces and left along the fence. The park still works fine for playing ball with bigger dogs who need more room as long as you can keep them away from the debris. I'm not sure why, but the huge dumpster at the park was over flowing and the park wasn't half full. We were here 4 days and it was not emptied in the time we were here. It rained a significant amount while we were here. We took our growing puppy out to play in the puddles and had a great time with that despite the disgusted looks from the KOA staff. We were not sure what that was about, she was just playing in the water running in the creek and then back to our campsite / trailer. We have been here multiple times since August. We got mixed up on the check-out time by one hour (we thought it was noon and it was 11 a.m.) and were treated very rudely by KOA staff letting us know they were going to charge us another day if we didn't leave soon even though all of our utilities were unhooked, slide outs were in, truck was running hooked up to our trailer and I was loading dogs in the back door of the truck. It was our mistake, but it was very obvious we were leaving, we just mixed up the check-out time. I hope the management can get the park back to normal by summer time when we come back through. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice KOA set among the trees. Staff friendly, but seemed a bit upset with hours worked and pay. All facilities worked well, nice laundry room. Great place for our small class C, but some of the larger 5th wheels and A's with toads had some difficulty getting around. Older KOA, and while clean, the facilities are tired looking. Spaces are tight. Because of the trees, no satellite signal, but the park's cable worked well. Restrooms and showers were clean. Good water pressure and hot water in the shower, but the stall was small. Laundry room was clean. The camp store was well stocked with snacks and Arkansas items. There are 2 enclosed dog runs. Staff was very friendly. The escort to site not only helped us park, but get out of our site the next day without hitting a tree. Lots of noise from I-430 that is adjacent to the park. Walmart and other shopping is a couple miles down the road. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The staff was pleasant on check-in and led us to our pull through site. We held our breaths while we extended our slide, looking out the window at the neighbor's awning. Really close. It's pretty and woodsy, with lots of birds and squirrels. No satellite but the park provides good cable, and our Verizon air card works just fine. The $42.00/nightly rate includes taxes, and we are not KOA members. This KOA is OK for an overnight stay or if you come here for a purpose - as we did. The Clinton Presidential Library was our cause for a two night stay. The KOA is like most of the rest; tired looking, overgrown, lots of full-time residents, and very little maintenance. Stayed for two nights in a pull-through. Friendly park, friendly staff and helpful towards directing us to attractions in Little Rock. We've been traveling for 3 weeks from California, and this is the most expensive RV park we've stayed in. However, the amenities in our site included a free-use BBQ and a gas fired firepit, along with two chairs and a table. Park is 75 yards south of Interstate 40, 1 mile from the nearest exit but only 75 yards from the highway, so convenience and traffic noise - you get them both here. Spacious pad sites. Small fenced dog run. Bathrooms well heated and clean. Good hot water flow from the showers, but for some reason cold water only in the sinks. No paper towels (a personal bugaboo if you'd like to clean up your sink area after using). Biggest issue we had was the "free wi-fi." What good is free wi-fi if it's down from check-in to check-out? Office manager acknowledged it was down - no reason given. But for it to stay down for 12 hours was completely unacceptable. We would only stay here again if passing through the area and nothing else was available. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We've stayed here 3 times. Each time was good. $39 reflects 50 amp and a KOA discount so it does seem a little high. We were in a pull through gravel site with our 33 foot 5th wheel. We were able to level with just our hydraulic jacks. Everything, electric, water, sewer, wifi and cable worked great each time. We asked for a site with a southern sky view for our dish which worked fine too. There are a lot of full time rigs but over nighters are welcomed. We didn't use the laundry, showers or rest rooms but they looked good. The sites we stayed at were pretty close to the highway. You could hear a fair amount of traffic noise through the trees, but it didn't bother us inside. The park was overall neat and clean. We will stay again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Campground is very nice in areas, depending on what your preferences are. Very close sites and paved roadway but roads are very tight. Fortunately, we had a good site, G14, with picnic table, fire pit, BBQ pit, wrought iron patio set with 2 chairs, paved site and patio area. Very nice, except it rained the whole time until the day we left. Could not enjoy the environment. Utility connections were kind of spread far apart along the pad but we made it work. Not much room to park the truck after the camper was situated. Water connection was very close to the ground; hard to screw and unscrew the hose connection. Enrolled in VKR Rewards for $24 a year for 10% discounts since they don't take Good Sam. Pool looked very nice. Office workers were very nice as well. Wi-Fi worked great and so did cable TV. Wanted to use the dog park but it rained too much; from what I could see, it looked OK. Only one garbage receptacle located behind the office; you have to dump your own. One negative about this park is that it is close to the interstate and a little noisy, but you won't notice it if your windows are closed. This is an OK campground. The check-in and staff are very helpful and will guide you into your site. We had a deluxe site (#R1), which is located directly across from the office. It was long enough for our RV and car with plenty of space on the sides. Very nice, with a cement pad, wood deck, table & chairs and a gas grill. I can't speak for the rest of the park, but our site was comfortable. We had all the hook-ups with good cable and Wi-Fi. Lots of trees but not in the way of our slides. KOA is situated about one mile from 1-40 which we found to be convenient for an overnight stay. We spent our 1st visit here as an overnight as part of a trip father out West. We had a pull-through site with good shade. The sites could use a little more gravel but came with standard wooden picnic table and charcoal grill. The pool was fabulous: very clean and refreshing in the 90+ degree heat. There was a fenced playground area next to the pool with nice equipment for kids. There was fenced dog run area with gravel at one of the campground: not huge but nice to let your dog run free for a bit. The office had a small store, decent selection of board games, a pool table and a small ice cream shop. The WiFi was excellent but our cable TV reception was terrible. We couldn't watch any of the stations. There is a moderate amount road noise from the interstate, but it is a convenient location off the interstate. And it was so hot during our stay that the AC unit blocked out any noise from the road. Overall, it was a nice smaller place that was very nice for an overnight stay. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a nice park. We were disappointed when we found out they had removed the hot tub for exercise equipment. Who goes camping to exercise? The water pressure was very poor because they were filling the pool while we were there and instead of only filling it at night, The manager( who was not very nice) wanted it filled right away. Not to mention it was opening 2 weeks late. So for 2 days we had very poor water pressure. The staff is nice and the park is quiet. I chose this park because it had WiFi, and was close to my friend's house. It is one of the nicer RV parks I've been in. When I checked in, the guy at the counter offered me a cheaper, 30 amp location, since I didn't need 50 amp. Then he gave me a pull through at no extra charge. He drove a golf cart to lead me to my site, which was a nice touch. The bathrooms were amazing. New, and very clean, even had XM Radio piped in, which gave a "hotel" feel to it. The location IS right next to I-430. You could throw a stone and hit the expressway, but with the A/C on inside my rig I didn't mind the road noise. My biggest complaint was the WiFi. the signal was strong, but it was ridiculously slow. At best it was 56 kbps, and at worst it was 26 kbps. That's slower than dial-up. It may be because there were dozens of rigs at the park, but I expected better. For that reason, and because the price was a bit steep, I'll probably not return, even though everything else was good. The freeway is nearby, but it is not bothersome, especially since it's 95 degrees out and both air conditioners are going. The campground is compact, sites are fairly close together. Some sites are just dirt. However, all these things pale in comparison to the road noise. The rear most sites are right on I-430. I might as well have parked on the highway shoulder for the night. When trucks or motorcycles came through on the interstate it was pretty tough to sleep. This park was very nice. It had shaded sites. We stayed 2 nights. On the first night, at about 8:30, after the office closed, we lost our cable hookup. In the morning, we went to the office to place a complaint. By 4PM that afternoon, they had not researched the complaint. We checked back with the office and they did respond immediately and fixed the problem. However, the cable reception, when fixed was not what would have been expected. The water pressure was low. Because the cost was more than any RV park we had stayed in from Arizona to Michigan, Ohio to Arkansas, we expected more. Like other reviews noted: the cable TV was fuzzy. This is a very crowded park. We asked for an easy in and easy out space because we were only staying for the night. It seemed that the owner/manager went out of his way to make sure that we parked our 40' rig in the tightest space he had. He was very unfriendly. It is just not big rig friendly. The interior roads were not good, and way too many big trees. We won't ever stay at this campground again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We enjoyed our stay at this KOA. It was very wooded and seemed isolated although we were just off a major highway. Therefore, we did have some road noise to contend with but it was not bad. The management was very helpful and welcoming and the store and snack/ice cream bar was clean and inviting. We enjoyed an after dinner ice cream cone very much. We would have given this park a 10 but the rigs were packed pretty close together. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We read the previous reviews and were a little worried, but we had an excellent experience here. The campground was clean and all the facilities we saw were also in good shape and clean. The park was busy (as most KOAs are) but we had no problems getting in or out and there were absolutely no problems from other guests. The campground is close to the interstate, but with our air unit on, we never heard anything from outside. The only complaint I had was that the cable on our pull-through site was a little fuzzy. It was viewable and not a deal-breaker. My in-laws camped in the spot next to us and their cable was perfect, so probably just a one-off problem. This campground is fairly well located and is a couple of mile from a new Wal-Mart as well. I have already booked another stay at the park for this weekend! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This was an overnight stay and not a good experience. It had rained earlier and the site was very muddy. The gravel was long gone from the site. Some sites had gravel and others had mud - -we got mud. The park is very crowded, like many KOA's, but this one exceeded the norm. When we left the next morning, we had to back our 38' fifth wheel trailer out of the site to leave the "pull through" site. We would not stay there again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Don't know why the previous visitor gave this such a low rating. We found the sites very adequate, the roads paved and wide enough. The only downside is our neighbor had pulled his 5th wheel very close to the front of his site and made it a little difficult for us to pull out, but that is not the park's fault. The staff was very helpful. The dog run was a great place to unleash our dog and let him have a little freedom. The wi-fi was super. The best signal we have had so far on our trip. We definitely will be back when we are in this part of the state. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is another older KOA that tries to accommodate bigger rigs. The grounds are kept well. The staff was very friendly. We were in one of the five larger pull-through sites that are in a row in the front of the campground. The problem was we faced directly into the office, directly across the road where all the new arrivals came in. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Tight turns - exercise equipment - nil although stated in ad - sauna & spa in shed no ventilation etc, very poor roads definitely would never stay there again and would not recommend any large motorhome or 5th wheel would have a hard time negotiating the runs very unhappy with park. Like almost all of the other campers, I heard the traffic noise from I40 but I was so tired, it didn't bother me. The campground was clean, well organized, and well-staffed. I especially was pleased with the autotransformer that was on my 50-amp power station. That gave me a little bit more peace of mind. This is an older park, clean, but lots of permanent sites. We had a pull through so we could stay hooked up and continue our travel early in the morning, but sites were so unlevel we had to unhook for the night. The park sits very close to main roads and there is lots of traffic noise , but that was OK. An older park, looked like lots of resident types. The lady messed up my reservation, had me for 1 month later. All they had was 30 amp pull throughs, not very level. Lots of trees, narrow driveways, be careful, I have a 40 foot rig plus toad. The guy who checked me in was helpful. I will probably stay somewhere else, too pricey. There were lots of tall pines and curved roads. Sites were narrow and long. We could put our slides out but not the awning. The site was level, gravel, no grass. Bathhouse was older but nice and clean. We were led to our site. There is highway noise but we could not see it. This was good for an overnight but the sites seemed piled on top of one another. Fairly nice park. The highway noise was apparent but not all that bad. But we had electrical problems. The voltage was low, as low as 104 volts, and our protection circuits kept shutting off our electricity. The same thing happened to another RVer who was travelling with us. We finally got it to work (sort of) by turning our battrey chargers to their lowest charge rate and turning our refrigerators to work on LP gas. This brought the voltage up to 108-110 V. I would not stay here again for this reason. (I took a ride through the city park campground and the sites there were enormous, at half the price, so I suggest staying there.) We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed at this park for 3 nights, and were pleased at how friendly the staff are, and how clean this park is. Our site had a very comfortable residential type patio set, a gas grill and a cement/wood patio. There's even an ice cream shop in the main building. We loved the central location, which seems rural yet close to everything in Little Rock. This park is also very pet friendly, yet we found no "surprises" laying on the grounds or owner's with problem dogs. We would stay at this park again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice, well run, friendly park with exceptionally easy access to I-40 and DT Little Rock. Although we didn't use them, they offer laundry, pool, sauna and jacuzzi. WiFi worked very well. This park would rate at least a 9, except for the freeway noise. One of the noisiest parks we've ever visited. If you stay here, try to position yourself near the front of the park, though you may have to pay more to use the premium sites located there. Otherwise, bring both earplugs and have a source of white noise because it gets really LOUD with the truck traffic only a few (50)feet from the park boundry. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Quiet for the two nights we spent at this campground. Lots of trees. Much rain but this campground is uphill so no flooding. Office hours are 8am to 8 pm and staff seems efficient and friendly. Some sites are not level but that's why we carry levelers. Many campers use this KOA and from what we heard, it seems to be a favorite of those passing through the area. We decided to stay here last minute as the weather was getting bad. (thunderstorms and heavy rain) We were greeted by pleasant folks and checked in right away. There were other folks checking in, and I noticed that they were receiving the same pleasant treatment. We were promptly showed to our site, and the gentleman stayed for awhile to see if we needed any assistance. I couldn't have asked for more. Everything worked great, electric, Wi-Fi, cable TV, water pressure etc. This is a diamond in the rough. We would stay here again. The $35.00 was due to our 17 year old son was with us. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Attractive, but the trees could be a problem for some. Our truck had some difficulty fitting into the cabin parking spot due to trees! Much road noise from the interstate, but no worse than other KOA's we've been to that are located along major highways. Clean bathrooms; owners are making some improvements and some fixtures are newer. The ice cream parlor sounded neat, but was closed for the season. Campfires are prohibited, a major drawback in such a pretty location. Considering it was December, the campground was quite full when we were there. Decent overnight if you aren't trying to sleep in a tent or pop-up. We camped here in a Campground Cabin.

Another very expensive KOA, especially for mid-November. Then you have to pay $2 a day for Wi-Fi. This CG was the noisiest we have stayed at in 10 months of full timing through the US and Canada. I have stopped here every thursday before Memorial Day on the way to Branson for the last 3 years. Nice pool and very good cable TV. We have had a full hookup pull-through every time and have enjoyed each stay. It could be a little cramped and noisy if the park were full. Some resident/seasonal sites if that bothers you. I wish we wouldn't have come to this park as when I tried to make the reservation over the phone, the lady was very rude and hung up on me. I tried to call back to finish my reservation and she said she couldn't be bothered with me. When we got here, there was no one in the office it was about 1:00 pm when we arrived. There was no note on the door as to when they would be back. There was a man's phone number on the board to call, so we called and he helped us. We got to our site and it was full of water, there is no drainage at this park even though there are rock sites and grass inbetween, but had to walk ankle deep in mud. The restrooms are in need of remodeling, not very clean and the laundry room has 3 washers and 3 dryers, but good luck on getting your clothes dry. I had one lady who approached me selling drugs. Needless to say, we left the same day. I don't recommend this park, I would advise on going to the KOA or the Riverfront RV park. This isn't a kid friendly park, there is no place to play and the blonde lady (owner) was just rude. All she wanted was our money. She wouldn't answer our questions and acted like we were an annoyance. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is great. It is close to everything. The owner's have been there for 3 years now and have made some GREAT improvements to this run-down park. The owners greet you with a smile and are willing to help in any way they can. The sites are very spacious. They have propane and an electric gate. Most sites are pull through, but there are a few back in's too. Lots of shade trees and onsite coin laundy and coke machine. All sites are full hook ups (water, electric, and sewer). If you are traveling on I-40 it's a great place to spend the night, week or month. Easy on and off access to the interstate. Reservations are not required, but during the summer you might want to have one as they do get full. We will be back again this year. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I asked if they had Wi-Fi and was told yes. I asked if they had cable TV and was told no. I then wanted to know if she was a new owner since reviews in 2006 were pretty poor. We stayed here on a two night stop to see the Clinton Library. We felt it was an ok stay. Maybe a bit overpriced, but the office was clean, and the laundry was great! The gate worked fine for us and we were given a code. Sites were fairly level and we had a pull through. We were there right after a torrential downpour, so it was pretty muddy. By far the worst place I have ever stayed! There was hardly ever anyone in the office and when there was someone in there when I went to ask a question about something they weren't of much help. There was an older couple (they manage it but I think they may own it as well) and they tried to be friendly and helpful but they were more confusing than anything. I also saw little mice running around in the office when I was in there and the office wasn't very clean at all. There were cable TV hook ups but they didn't work and they didn't have wireless internet or anything - not even local phone service. The bathroom was not the cleanest and I felt dirty even stepping foot into it! There was a light that worked for 30 minutes (timer) and if you spend more time than that using the restroom, showering, and freshining up - I hope you don't slip because it is so dark once that 30 minutes is up. I read a review awhile back about it being behind a small strip mall - there was no strip mall to say the least. The cost of $22-$24 is overpriced for this place. I would have rather payed $35+ to stay at KOA or anywhere else! Oh yeah - they have a gate (for security???) - and I wasn't given the code to it - so when I went to the store and came back I was locked out! Luckily someone was coming out as I was coming in and it opened. The gate was rarely closed but I guess sometimes it is and they don't give you the access to get back in - that is awful! Also - it is 2006 right? I mean we have become a computer age society - well don't try to use a credit card or debit card here! They don't take them!!! Good luck getting the washers and dryers to work - they wouldn't work when I tried them. I would pay a little extra to stay somewhere else that was better maintained and managed - this is definitely not somewhere you want to stay and my family and I will never go back! In my opinion this is one of the worst RV Parks I have ever visited. The drive is gravel and has many large potholes. There is a gate at the entrance to the park grounds for (what I was told on the phone) security but it was never closed. The property looks like a mobile home park with several old run down mobile homes and campers that have seen their better day and most have flat tires and tarps over then to keep the rain out. It looks more like a junk yard than an RV Park. There is no Cable TV, Phone or Wi-Fi and satellite reception is not good because of all the trees. They do have a laundry but sadly there was no power to any of the washers or dryers. The restrooms and showers were not any better. The toilets were so nasty I would never use them. They had human waste all over them. The showers looked like they had never been cleaned and had mildew all over them. In all this I have learned to never make a reservation over the phone without seeing the place first. I paid for one week stay by phone (left my money in an envelope through a slit in the door when I arrived) and never saw any staff the whole time I was here. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is mostly a mobile home park. The mobile homes are at the back of the property and RV spaces at the front. We never saw any staff. Sign at office says to put the money in the envelope and drop it in the slot. Bathrooms had timer on the lights. 30 minutes was maximum. Bathrooms were not real clean. Could have used some minor touch repairs. It is behind a small strip mall which includes a Dollar General store. Roads and sites were gravel and roads needed some work. Won't ever go back. Not even a good overnight. We camped here in a Motorhome.
