Nice stop. New entrance off Hwy. 1 on upper level. Power (15 amp) ok, water and sewer at site. Telcell good. Free WiFi at office/restaurant on site. Secure. A bit of noise from nightly semis rolling by. Two levels for rv parking. Big rigs no problem. Swimming pool appears to be functional. Pemex nearby. Nice park for the Baja. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We stayed in the new section just down the road from Rice & Beans main location. It is in a palm tree oasis. The new section, which is still under construction, has about 20 big pull-through sites with full hook ups. Today, there was no water and the electricity was 140 volts. It looks like it has promise in the future, when they finish the bathrooms and showers. May take a year, but for boondocking with sewer, it was OK. he restaurant has good food and good service. I would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We were part of an RV caravan of 16 RV's. This is the new Rice & Beans and it was not finished. Strange water/electric. I would not trust, so we just dry camped. The place holds much promise: concrete pads, cabins, palms, etc., etc., etc. I would wait at least 2 years before returning. The Rice & Beans restaurant was OK, and we got a free drink. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This park proved to be a disappointment. Passport America rate was not honored. Few hookups available, but only 15 amp and voltage was an incredible 135 volts. Electric power was through a light switch. Power off during the night and only came back on at 7am. Back in site fairly level. Wi-Fi advertised was off and typically no one knew when it would be back on. Good restaurant on site. We camped here in a Motorhome.
