We where here just for closing season but they had still some beautiful pull through sites open. Big sites but some spots are a little difficult to get in and out because of the trees. But we managed well, and are not that experienced. Park is well maintained and just around the corner from Radium Hot Springs (3 miles). We sure will come back. Free WiFi at the Visitor Center downtown. Just be aware: the road to this campground appears all of a sudden, and is very poorly marked! It is just left passing (or before) the visitor center, outside the Park boundaries. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This was a very nice campground in the Kootenay National Park. The restrooms were clean, national park attendants were very helpful, the campground was quiet. The park is working at updating the campground. Very pleasant experience. The only negative was charging an $8.00 extra fee in order to have a campfire. Campfires - and especially in a national park - are part of the experience - and to charge $8.00 for a campfire is really crummy. We camped here in a Truck Camper.
