Great RV Park. We stayed here for 3 nights and camped at the top level where there were 5 full hook-up sites. The Wi-Fi worked great (fast, reliable and strong signal). Campground is by the Fraser River and very nice. If you are looking for a quiet Campground in a beautiful surrounding, this is a great place to stay. The rate reflects PA-discount. Staff was very friendly, but wasn't around a lot. Self registration if office is closed. For big rigs I would not recommend this Campground since it is narrow and the full hook-up sites are not very long. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This campground is situated on the east side of the Fraser River (across from Lillooet) with a beautiful view of the river and the surrounding mountains. The access road is fairly steep and gravel making it not suitable for big rigs. The sites are on two terraces and none can fit anything larger than 30 feet. There are a few tent sites available down near the river. Our site was a gravel back-in on the top terrace. It was in the row of full hookup sites. The lower terrace had the majority of sites and only had electric and water. Two sites at the south end were waterfront. There was only one combined washroom and shower. There were also some pit toilets. It was self registration when I registered. I paid the Passport America rate. Someone showed up to open up the office (a converted truck camper) later in the afternoon. No cable TV and the one channel on the antenna was too distorted to watch. The Wi-Fi was too weak to be usable. We camped here in a Motorhome.
If RVing over the Duffy Lake road en route to Pemberton and Whistler, Lilloet is a good strategic overnight to gather your wits about you before tackling the winding, switch-backed challenging road with some awesome hills. The owners of Retasket Lodge have attempted to make this small RV park attached to the motel appealing. The complex is surrounded by a chain link fence for good reason. The motel is located adjacent to marginal dwellings. While we were there, a group of rowdy young males were engaged in a booze/drug fest. It was unsettling to know they were so close. Efforts have been made to make a communal outdoor patio with a view. However, the entire place looks to be in a sad state of disrepair. Due mainly to the restlessness of the youth in this depressed community, we will select other options in future. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Great managers at this RV Park. We were the only ones there during our stay. Free continental breakfast, good stable Wi-Fi and cable services. An amazing BBQ terrace setting available around the other side of the motel. The drive through this area with an RV can be a little bit scary if you are not used to REALLY deep canyons (coming from the East) and 15% downward grades for 5km going towards Whistler. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
