First let me say that hookups are not available at any Provincial Park in British Columbia. This is a large campground located within a Provincial Park along the east coast of Central Vancouver Island. The sites are large, very level and most are shaded by large trees. Each site has a firepit and firewood can be purchased in the campground. In addition, staff will come around with firewood during the evening and you can purchase same right at your site. Staff are friendly, there are flush toilets and hot showers. Lots of kids. Great hiking trails and access to the beach. Paved roads throughout, so the kids can enjoy riding their bikes. The villages of Merville and Black Creek are close by, there is a golf course nearby and also a restaurant/pub. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
