Nice park with a friendly manager. Will stay here again. Once they get some 50 amp services in, it will rate a 8 or 9. Nice DVD rental collection. Swings etc. for children. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Camp has potential, but not kept up. On a very steep slope of decline. Owner was friendly, but I think we interrupted his tv program. We stayed here only to have Elect for the night. Would use this again only for the same reason. We camped here in a Truck Camper.

I have traveled across Canada and the USA, and I would strongly disagree with previous posts. This campground is very very clean, and well maintained. I would think that unless you have actually lived on a lake and had to deal with the issues involving waterfowl, (in particular Canadian Geese), it would be inaccurate for you to comment on the situation that these owners must deal with. Let's focus on the positive please. Super clean washrooms, super friendly staff, and a great view. If you see garbage lying around, be a sport and pick it up instead of complaining about it. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

I agree with the previous review in most respects. The "poop" made walking near the edge of the lake undesirable. Also, there was a good deal of loose trash laying around and staff never came to clean up the tent site across from us. We did, however, have good Wi-Fi reception in site 27. Even with all the negatives, it's still the best place in Quesnel. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is very pretty and on Dragon Lake. When we went for a walk down by the lake, however, there was so much duck "poop" that we didn't want to walk on the grass. Well, that's nature! The drinking water had a very high chlorine taste and smell, but when we asked about it the explanation made sense. It seems the water comes from the lake so it has to be well chlorinated. We did purchase some bottled water. We stayed here for three days at the start of our travels and came back for another 2 days. The trip to Barkerville was well worth staying for. The wireless didn't work unless we were near the office. The laundry was clean and about average price. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a nice park. Hosts were very nice also. Sites are large and shaded and privacy between sites. We camped here in a Motorhome.
