Nice overnight stop with easy in and out. We had a pull through site and didn't need to unhook. The Wi-Fi was good. The rate is $25 in Canadian cash. They do take credit cards. The laundry was neat and very clean. It's located about 6 miles from town, and has a little highway noise. Very friendly owner. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We used this park for an overnight stay only. It had easy access, good power, excellent wi-fi in the coach, plus we were able to receive our Directv. Price charged was for Canadian in cash. The owner was helpful and pleasant. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Glacier View RV Park was well maintained, the manager was very friendly and the glacier was directly across the road which made for nice scenery. My wife did use the handicap restroom and she said it was very clean, the shower was large and well equipped for the handicapped and there was even pleasant piped in music. This park is near the town of Smithers which made shopping easy. The entrance to the park was very accessible and well marked on the highway. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Very nice RV park about 8km west of Smithers. Awesome view of the glacier. Clean, warm washrooms with "calming nature music," laundry with book swap. Grass and trees. Dish washing room, handicapped shower. Cabins also available. Horseshoes. Wi-Fi is free but slow. Some road noise. Fire pits and picnic tables. Quiet except for the road. Nice host. Great vibe. We camped here in a Motorhome.
There could be a big problem with this park if there are many staying here because the pull-thru sites are designed for 2 RVs. Our site with the stairs out and no slide on that side only had about 10 feet for the other site. There was good free Wi-Fi which reached much further than the previous review. As mentioned there is no sewer for the pull-thrus. The park has some nice big trees and grass but the inside roads had lots of pot holes. There is plenty of room for big rigs. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is a nice park, with some reservations. There are a limited number of pull-throughs available and none with sewer connections. The sewer connections are all back-in sites. But the views are nice, the people are great to work with and most of the sites are easy to access. The Wi-Fi reaches only about 4 sites. When we stayed there they had a couple of parties of fishermen staying in tents and they tended to keep late hours around the campfire, resulting a certain amount of noise. But basically we like this park. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Not sure of rate, we were part of a caravan. Site number is approximate. Nice little muni campground with a par 3 golf course around it. Only big drawback is the side by side sites are very tight with 2 motorhomes parked at the same time. If you had one by yourself then you're in business. We camped here in a Motorhome.
