This used to be the Beaver Creek Provincial Park Campground but is now run by the Kiwanis Club of Trail and BC parks "wants nothing to do with it" according to the fellow who took our money. On check-in we were told which site number to park in. No map of the campground, no list of rules and regulations, no information on the area, no information about the restrooms (there are some by the office evidently), no rate information (we were going on the assumption that this was a provincial park as it is still listed on the gov.bc website). The sites are typical unimproved park sites with fire rings but no gravel so can be dusty, and muddy after a rain. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a fabulous, restful, and friendly place to camp. Right on the Columbia River. Same rate for all size rigs - $20 a campsite. Hosts are very friendly and do not allow noisy youth to party into the wee hours. Great hiking! Fishing! Boat ramp. Lots of edible wild berries (Saskatoons!). Showers and flush toilets are at the entrance to the park (the only drawback here) which is almost 1 km from the campground. Decent outhouses located in the campground. Wal-mart is about 1-1/2 miles away that you pass by coming south from Highway 3. Campfires are often permitted here when a ban is on everywhere else, as was the case 2 years ago. This is generally a hot sunny area so look for the shade. We camped here in a Tent.
