This is owned and operated by the Viejas Tribe of Native Americans, and is a couple of miles down the road from their ultra modern casino and discount shopping mall. This is an much wilderness as one would want. Although the road is in nicely paved, once inside the "park" it changes to dirt. The spaces, although well marked on the map you are given at the registration/security check, they are obscured by dirt/brush/shrubs in reality. This place is not dirty, but it is not paved or graveled either. We asked about an RV park at the casino, and were referred to a private park (not at all nice) a bit further down the road. But, the folks at the casino "club" desk did not even know about this park. We like more civilized places, but this would appeal to folks, particularly since the competition is so much more money! We camped here in a Motorhome.
