What we liked most about Silver Saddle Ranch was the peace and quiet. It is a large resort acreage so there was plenty of room to get away from the central complex. The park is also located about 12 miles from town which really gives a sense of being away from it all. Nice ponds, landscaping and lots of trees added to the country feel. On the down side...the central complex closes mid week so be prepared for that. And, on weekends they have a LOT of families come up to visit so it gets busy. Not much in the way of on-site RV services so come prepared. Otherwise, a very nice spot to spend a week. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very quiet during February but beautiful. Resort has small lake surrounded by park setting. The pool was not open (too cold) but the hot tub was (loved it!). Restaurant open just on weekends but that was fine with us. Come stocked as California City is 20 minute drive by car. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a membership resort that allows use by non-members at higher prices. Beautifully landscaped throughout with many top-notch activities/amenities such as horseback riding, swimming, mini-golf, and a bartender who mixes great cocktails. I would have given a 10, but the sewer backed up on me. When I informed the front desk of this, I was told the same thing happened at the same site last week. They should have fixed it last week! We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is an Awesome site in the middle of the desert! friendly staff, CLEAN and beautiful.
There are small streams running throughout the 80 acre park. Also has several ponds and a 2 acre lake for fishing and paddleboats. Resort also has a great restaurant, pools, full service spa, and a 45 room hotel. Well worth the drive. We camped here in a Motorhome.
