We spent a month there and it was horrible. There are lots of permanents that think they own the place. The sand had burrs that the dogs carried into the motorhome that made life grand. The vacuum would not vacuum them up, so we had to pull them out of the carpeting by hand. The worst part was the equipment rental yard next door that started loading trucks at 4am or earlier. Believe me, you will hear the backup alarms from the trucks starting at 4am that last all day long--even on weekends. My sites electrical panel actually melted my electrical cable the end, and we didn't use the AC. As someone mentioned, the water pressure is insanely high in the park. Cathedral City has other parks that we visited that are much nicer. I will not stay at this park ever again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

An old KOA park that has been allowed to totally run down. Could be such a gem, as location is wonderful, close to shopping, restaurants, and clubs. Dirt sites with some renovated electric work done. We had to use a power regulator. I wish some group would purchase this park, and upgrade it. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The park is in a great location for many activities throughout the valley. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The security guard guided us into a temporary spot because we arrived after 10:00 PM. The reason I did not give the park a higher rating is because the park is old and could use some TLC. The Club Room is a double wide mobile home with some very vintage furniture. The ceiling in the Club Room had some water damage. The RV spots were huge. We pulled right through without unhooking our towed vehicle. One other thing to be very aware of is the extremely high water pressure. There is a sign in the office that states they are not responsible for damage due to high water pressure. One of my neighbors who had been staying there a while came up to me to warn me about the high water pressure as well. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for a couple of nights. There are several pools and hot tubs. All were very nice and clean! Immaculate showers and bathrooms also. Their dog policy is very strict. Your pet is only allowed to go potty on your patch of grass and you must water down the spot afterwards to avoid brown grass. It is difficult to walk a dog and carry a bucket of water. I felt that was a bit pet unfriendly. For this reason, I have reduced the score. There are several permanent, 5th wheels with skirting around them. They are very tidy and neat with no junk anywhere. All of the residents are very nice and welcoming! We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is the Outdoor Resort in Cathedral City, that is called Outdoor Resort Palm Springs. It is a huge facility and I am unsure why it has no reviews here. Do not confuse it with Outdoor Resort Indio which is a much different park. This facility is very nice and I am splitting hairs with the rating, because we later moved to a different park. This park has an 18 hole par 3 golf course winding through the property. The sites are adequate, but barely long enough. We had to wiggle our tow vehicle in sideways across the front. The people are very nice. The sites on the golf course offer great views, but the interior sites feel crowded. There are tow huge club houses with all the amenities, tennis, pools, hot tubs etc. It has a great exercise room and a cafe. Landscaping and fruit trees abound, it is a very attractive and spotlessly clean park. Petty problems dropped my rating. You have to pay for access to the fitness center. You have to pay to golf. We never felt we were being shunned for not being an owner, but we also didn't feel exactly welcome, sort of a standoff. Our biggest gripe, the dog walk, or lack thereof. For the entire 1200 site park, there is only three 10x10 pens where the dog can do his or her thing. All three pens are located side by side on the edge of the park. Most residents take their pooches to the toilet via golf carts. We didn't have a cart so it was a long walk with legs crossed for our canine companion. If you don't have a dog, raise my rating a point. This park has many pluses and allows rigs other than a Class A. Outdoor Resort - Palm Springs (in Cathedral City) is a great option for those without Class A rigs, however if you do have a class A, I recommend going elsewhere. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for 1 week. We enjoyed staying here because it was close to restaurants and shopping since we are not towing vehicle and could walk across street for anything we want/needed. We are not rating this park a 10 because of several reasons. I was told before booking this park that their Internet worked fine. The Internet is not acceptable as advertised. You have to pay $4.95 per day, and could hardly ever get connected. Service is Tengointernet. I called them 3 times. First time they told me I needed to purchase a wireless USB adapter ($60) which I did. When I called them again and told them still not working, they then blamed it on the park and said they needed to invest in a stronger router. They also need dog walk. We had to walk ours on the grass in front on a busy street. Beautiful city though. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Tight spaces, clean park but didn't find the employees very friendly. We would stay there again if we still got our discount rate with passport america. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Sites are short, close together and uneven. Streets are narrow, not providing enough room to maneuver a big trailer into back-in sites. This is a resort only because of its proximity to Palm Springs. In any other location, it would be a campground, and not a very good one. WAY overpriced for the value received. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
