This campground is on the grounds of the county fair just outside of the downtown area of Dixon. Sixteen of the sites have full hook-ups with 50 amps. These sites are on gravel and well spaced with some newly-planted fruit trees in between. The other 12 sites are water and electric only and are pretty much parking lot. It is nothing fancy, but for the price in the area it can't be beat. It is a good place for visiting Davis or Sacramento. The power was very good. There are no showers or restrooms. Verizon cell and data were good there. There is some noise from the fairly-busy street but it is fairly quiet at night. There are no large street lights so it is fairly dark which we like. There was one night when there was an event at the fairgrounds, and it was noisy until about 11 p.m., but it was not bad. The staff in the office were very friendly and helpful. It is a good idea to call ahead to make for sure there is not an activity at the fairgrounds that would prevent you from staying there. We would definitely stay there again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
