Nice clean park in a beautiful valley. Rate reflects Passport America discount. Well maintained, interior roads are tight for a big rig as are the parking sites. Wi-Fi at back of park is nonexistent. Good electricity (50 amp) , good water pressure. AT&T OK. We stayed here in a 40 ft rig, and we would come back. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is the only RV park in Etna. The next closest being Yreka, but this small town and this very nice RV facility is well worth the extra 24 miles south on Hwy 3. The park has all pull-through sites with easy access. It is located right on Hwy 3 but there is so little travel on this highway that noise was not a problem. We were there three nights mid-week and it was not half full. There were a couple of long-term tenants there, but the park rules do not allow for the accumulation of stuff nor the storage of items outside the RV so all sites are nice and neat. The laundry room was handy and very clean and prices reasonable. The park staff at the Shell station were helpful, friendly and accommodating. This is a great area to explore and the Etna Brewery is worth a visit in itself. We will absolutely stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Check in at a Shell station was very easy and friendly. Grass between level sites, a few look like long-term but were not cluttered. Easy in, easy out. Shade trees need to grow some more, not much shade in late afternoon in most sites. Has clean showers. A pleasant, quiet stay in a small American town. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a hidden gem for outdoorsy people who like to hike, fish and sightsee. It is very near the Marble Mountain Wilderness and the Russian Wilderness Areas. Lots of incredible lakes to visit. As far as the park goes, it is very nice. Easy in and easy out. The hookups are a 10. Friendly lady at the Shell station will check you in. It is very quiet. Nice play area for the kids. Two horseshoe pits. Small town. Nice place. We camped here in a Motorhome.
