The office staff were very friendly and helped us with plans for things to do in the area. Our site was large, level, and clean. Restrooms were tidy. Pool and spa were clean (and WONDERFUL!)... and we even played a few games of shuffleboard on the INDOOR courts (where do you ever see THAT?!?!). Overall, the whole place seemed clean, neat and well-maintained. The ballroom looked like it had recently been redone (the kitchen was nicer than ours back home!). It looks like management is putting money into the place. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend Casa Del Sol. We'll come back! We camped here in a Motorhome.

The management are friendly and do what they can with what they've got. Winter 2009 I would rate a "7", but this winter 2010 was a "3". Water pressure/quality is poor and people are not picking up after pets. Atmosphere has gone from RV resort to trailer park. Make sure you pack up everything--I mistakenly left a new pressure gauge on the faucet and when I called the office to see if they could mail it they said it was gone and stuff like that happens all the time. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Have been coming here since 2005. I understand the other comments because of the past managers, but the last few years Casa has changed completely. I believe that there are new owners and new managers. The staff and the park have changed definitely for the better. New upgrades, very clean, and managers are smiley, well dressed, and eager to help with anything we needed. Already booked space for next time. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Rate is based on monthly rate of $705. Despite what is shown here, this is NOT a 55 plus park. I asked the Manager when I issued a complaint regarding screaming children in the site beside us and was advised that this is an "Active Adult" park! This being Spring Break there were quite a number of young children in the park and I was advised by other guests that at Christmastime there were also quite a lot of children at the pool. The grounds, pool area and public spaces are very nice. If you are a pickleball player or want to learn this sport there are four new courts and free paddles and balls are available. The park hosts numerous free events such as live music at the poolside patio 6 days a week from 11-2 pm, Wine and Cheese Reception every Friday at 3:30 pm, to name just a few. They also put on dances every Saturday night with a different live band and the cost is just $8 each and you can bring your own beverages and snacks. Other live performances are also put on which run about $20 per person. On the negative side, if you are staying for anything less than 3 months the park will not let you reserve a specific site. If you are a small rig this is probably not an issue, but if you have a 38 foot or longer unit with slide-outs many of the sites will not accomodate you. My recommendation to anyone choosing to stay here is to leave your RV in the check-in area and ask the Park staff to escort you in a golf cart to the available sites and once you have selected one that you like and will fit into, then move onto the site. We moved twice and spoke to others who moved 5 times before finally finding a site that would accomodate their rig. Another negative, is that there is NO dog/pet section; the whole park is available for them. As a result we had barking dogs at 3 sites surrounding us. Despite rules that state dogs can not be left tethered outside when no one is present, it happens and complaints to the Park Manager changed nothing. It seems if you are a full-timer in the Park you can do whatever you want since the park is desperate for the revenue. Wi-Fi is available for a fee but it is our recommendation that if you are staying for one month or more that you subscribe to Time Warner at the same price. A Time Warner Rep will come to your site and arrange for the service. Shopping and numerous restaurants are located close by. If you want to stay in Hemet this is the only RV park to stay at but given our experience we aren't sure if we would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A great park for 55's and older. We stayed 3 months and had a great stay. Wish that would add Bingo to the games, and kept their Friday breakfast. Not everything has to turn a profit. We even got to know some of the full timers in the park and enjoyed them as well. All in all a very nice place. We're a bit picky about showers and restroom and I would say they could have been a little cleaner. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This was my second two-week stay at what is a first-class destination resort for the active 55+ crowd. There are plenty of activities, i.e. volleyball, pickleball, shuffleboard, cards, billiards, dances, concerts, and socials. This week, for instance, we had taste of the valley, a farmer's market, car show and crafts fair. Next week, I look forward to a Kenny Cetera concert which is tribute band to the Chicago Transit Authority band of the 60's and 70's. My collie and I totally enjoy everything about this resort. If you can't find some activity that interests you here, you would be better to dry camp out in the desert. A big thank you to the manager, his staff, and the many volunteers who make this place a wonderful retreat and vacation from retirement. The vendors, who are allowed on the property, are carefully screened by park management. I found the RV washers, repair techs, propane delivery man, and weed sprayers, all to be kind, considerate, and prompt in taking care of business. I disagree with and don't understand prior negative posts. This resort, the RV'ers who winter here, and the people who work here are all first class. I will return again next winter. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Front office staff is polite and courteous. We stayed here in Jan 2012. We were told that there was laundry, but 2 days later we were told we can't use them due to they did not have swipe cards. Before you check in they ask you to verify that there are no refunds.(That should have been the red light.) Some long term residents. Most sites need some attention-- pavement and concrete cracking, repairs to electrical pedestals. Pet park is a joke. There is a big field across from the entrance for walking. Wi-fi is good. Pool and hot tub are good. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Park is clean by club house & pool which we didn't use because it was too cold. Pet area is a joke - patch of dirt next to road - have to walk dog on street. Sites extremely tight for big rigs with butchered trees & not much room for slides and no view except back of grocery building. Shopping was close by - just down two blocks! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

The campground was easily found with our GPS. Brochures proclaimed this park as the #1 rated RV Park in Hemet. (I wonder who voted)? Roads in the campground are plenty wide, but the Staff wants you to park within a certain distance of the curb (which puts some of the rigs really close to the road, thus making for narrow driving). When you park your rig, you have to put your wheel well on the "patio" to be sure your slides have room. Sites were a little close together, especially at the back of each site (my sewer connection/water connection was right under the slide of an adjacent 5th wheel). We paid $450 for a month plus a $100 deposit for the electric. I read the meter when I parked, so I would know what the actual reading was. When I checked out on Feb. 14, the manager said I owed them an extra $40 for electrical overage. They showed me the reading and their numbers did not coincide with mine. Since I did not take my reading to the manager when I parked, I couldn't argue. They charge .18 cents per Kwh. There are lots and lots of rules that either are or are not enforced (think it depends on who you are maybe). Also be aware of unwritten rules and how they enforce them. We found it kind of aggravating. Washers and dryers cost way too much, so we used a laundry elsewhere in town. The women's showers were ok. In the men's showers, out of the 3 only 1 worked and it had a 5 minute time limit, by which time the water hadn't even warmed up yet. Cable TV good, Wi-Fi had a strong signal but for some reason did not work well. I used my ATT Air Card instead. We probably wouldn't stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
