The campground is in a beautiful setting surrounded by trees and the Carson River. Access to sites 11-25 is on a steep, narrow and roughly paved road with sharp curves. Campground map does not give an accurate layout of sites or the road to them. We stayed in site 13 which required us to drive to the end of the road and back into another site to turn around when leaving. We have a 27' travel trailer and would not have been able to turn around if the campground was full. The campground is better suited to small trailers or motorhomes. Sites have DG pads and nice fire rings and tables, but most are not level. Can be noisy due to traffic on Hwy 88. Breakfast at the cafe was good. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
