Huntington Lake is a pristine and beautiful lake. This Forest Service campground is our favorite and we book a long time in advance to score a spot. So well maintained. While not totally private, spaces are far enough apart to remember you are in the wilderness. Some spots are actually two driveways with camping on either side...so avoid those if you don't want window next to yours. Our favorite site is Number 7....its a double spot and cost twice as much, but backs up to the forest and accesses a wonderful walking path across streams. This spot normally fits a 25 ft vehicle in it...but by angling our big 5th wheel in, we fit great. Why am I telling you this....we don't want you there!!! LOL But truly a gem! Hosts always helpful and accommodating. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
