After trying to call Bob's RV Roundup for several days and getting only a busy signal, we drove by it today. The campground is closed and fenced off; it looks like they are tearing out the sites. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Convenient park for overnight or short-term stays. Sites are close together but pull-throughs are easily accessible, even for big rigs. Most of the back-in sites around the perimeter appeared to be occupied by long-term residents. Sites are mostly grass with a small concrete patio area. Bathrooms/showers are small and old. The gentleman who works in the office was very friendly and helpful when making reservations on the phone and when checking in. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Not a bad park (has lots of pull throughs), but not a destination, either. Good for a night to squeeze in among the many permanent residents for an overnight sleep and be on your way in the morning. Good cable TV, 30 and 50 amp. service, water and sewer. Just far enough from I-10 not to be noisy, but close enough to jump back on quick. We'd stay here again for an overnighter. We camped here in a Motorhome.

There were 4 sites with sewer hookups against the back of the building. These were sloping and narrow (forget using awnings if someone else is there) and the sewer must go uphill to empty. The water and power sites were much more level. OK for overnight stay. 30 amp power does not permit full use of air conditioner in the heat. Friendly staff and officers in the lodge. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed two nights two weeks apart. Both times we stayed at the far edge away from the freeway and did not hear any freeway noise. There are street/flood lights that provide enough light to walk your dogs at night and see what is going on around you. You can park close to the road along with most other campers or stay further out on the fringe and keep some space between you an others. There was no problem finding a flat spot to park, and our neighbors were quiet. I like this parking lot for one or two night stays and will use it again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This huge parking area is a handy stop that we used overnight when having our RV serviced nearby. We're told that some people stay here a month or more and set up picnic tables etc., and no one keeps track of who comes and goes. Plenty of room. There's nothing but a huge packed-dirt lot (with the casino a short walk away) so it's not for us except to tide us over for a night or two, but it's great for that. And at free it saved us roughly $50. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We camped here for two nights. The parking area is a gravel area across the street from the casino. This is just a parking area which has signs "No Overnight Camping" but when you call security at the number listed they say to camp as long as you wish. They do want you to come to the casino and try your luck. There are fine restaurants there. The experience here is totally free dry camping with others camped nearby. There is no dumpster for trash so just take it to your next stop. Since the parking is close to the Interstate, it can be noisy. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a very clean park that is a "resort" type with planned activities, etc., The pull thru spaces in our section were big and level. The pads were concrete. When I called on the phone to get the rates I was asked if I had Good Sam or AARP. I was quoted the rate for Good Sam. The folks that pulled in ahead of us told us they received the Passport America rate. The next morning I went into the office to inquire. The lady at the office was not really wanting to give me a refund, but in the end she did. The rate reflected on this post is a PPA rate. I did learn to always ask if they the parks accept PPA as it was not one of the discounts listed in their info OR on the PPA website. All in all, a very nice park off the beaten path which eliminates road noise. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We really liked this RV park. Clean grounds, escort to site, good Wi-Fi (free) and for Passport rate of 16.00!! What a great deal for double that price. Nice staff, helpful. Asked for a late checkout (normally 10:00 am, a bit early in my opinion) and no problem at all. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Narrow sites. Good paved road. Caters to seasonal retired folks. Staff and residents seemed nice. Three pools and 3 shower areas so that was good and accessible and very clean. We only stayed two nights. Lots of activities offered. We had problems first day with TengoInternet, but the 2nd day, connection and getting set up much better. No way to buy TengoInternet code for a second computer. At other parks, I paid $5 so that we both could use our computers at the same time. The lady checking us in, said there was no way to give me a 2nd code even though she had a clipboard full of the slips. Very quiet spot. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Price reflects the PA discount. This park has so much to offer. It's a very clean tidy park. The paved roads are in very good condition. The landscaping is carefully maintained making this one of the prettier parks that we've stayed in. There are three swimming pools in the complex. The rest rooms and laundry facilities were spotless. The park caters to the retired seasonal crowd. These folks take pride in their properties. Many are older park models but they are all well maintained. There is a real sense of community in this park. The residents here are among the friendliest we've met. Costco and Home Depot are about a driver and 5 iron away. Tons of options for groceries in the area. I highly recommend this campground. We look forward to returning here sometime down the road. We camped here in a Motorhome.

For the priced charged for these concrete pads you would think there would be peace and quiet. Not so, work trucks starting at 8:am and it goes on all day long. Parking of our toad was always a problem as most site owners just park anyplace they want. Golf carts everywhere and at night most run without lights at high speed day or night. Our next store neighbor had contracted to have spray painting done on his site. The application was a clear coat chip protector to the front of a car. That's right it was sprayed on site in the middle of the day. The problem became worse as our dog was locked inside the coach with the A/C on, thus fumes were sucked inside the coach. It was only luck we returned from shopping and rescued our dog.I flagged down a security guard while spraying continued and his response was "I'll report it". In my opinion....overpriced, poorly run without any enforcement of basic safety rules. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This place is the absolute best park we have ever found. One reviewer thought they were treated poorly as renters here but our experience was the opposite as we were treated very friendly by every space owner in the park. MCC is flat out the gold standard for a nice park for motor coaches, end of story. There is another place close by (Desert Shores) that has larger casitas with the lots but it reminded me of the Arizona "over 55 parks" and did not have much vibrancy to it. Motorcoach Country Club is fabulous and has really active and fun people there. We like it so much we are going to buy a lot there as this place is simply the best. We camped here in a Motorhome.

If you're reading this, you probably already know what this park is all about. World-Class luxury for motorcoaches only, and a dazzling display of personal wealth, possessions and creature comforts unlike anyplace else. The rental price is off the charts, but the facilities are beyond compare. Everything is done to perfection. Landscaping is gorgeous. Dog walk areas look like lush gardens. Water and fountains abound. Any amenity you can imagine is at your fingertips. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Almost any service or repair can be done at your site: cleaning, technical, etc. The level of individual amenities at your site depends on what you're willing to pay. But every single site is clean, spacious and state-of-the-art. That said, I gave this resort an 8 because many site owners in residence are less than friendly. They seem to tolerate us weekly renters as unavoidable pests. The clatter of traffic inside the resort with workers coming and going is constant during daylight and noisy at night with customized golf carts whizzing by, enroute to the elegant Clubhouse/Bar. We've been RVing and traveling with pets since the 80s. This is the only time and place where another RVer (anonymous) has filed a complaint against us. Management tactfully came to our site and asked us to change our rig set-up. Which (I confess) was in violation of a resort rule. It was a minor thing but really ruined our impression of this place and the kind of people who own properties here. Sadly, we won't be back. We drive a 45' quad-slide coach. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This spring we went on a luxury park trip to the Palm Springs area. Outdoor Resort was on our list and was a pleasant surprise. The resort is very renter friendly with Bingo, movie night, golf, swimming pools, bike riding, outdoor cafe and evening walks. The people went out of their way to say hello and ask where we were from and if we were having a good time. At Bingo people would ask us to sit with them. The resort was very well kept with the best manicured golf course I have ever seen. The resort is going though a growing stage with the addition of alumawood patio covers. This new addition will really help with the enjoyment of the sites. I rated this park a 9, because there is still a need for even more owner improvements to the sites that would increase their usefulness and enjoyment. Hopefully, those in charge will implement these as approved improvements. We will stay here again and would consider buying. We camped here in a Motorhome.

WOW! This is the best RV park we have ever stayed in. The landscaping is magnificent, the golf course is beautiful and the lots are huge. The people in the park, owners and other renters, were very friendly and the management/staff were very helpful. One even opened up the office after hours on a Sunday so that I could put some more dollars on my laundry card. Spotless laundry, spotless showers and toilets. This was a great vacation and we would have stayed longer if our schedule permitted. Large pool at the clubhouse, and four satellite pools on each corner. We had a 25% discount coupon for first time visitors, but even without that we shall return to this magnificent vacation spot. There is a small strip of grass around the perimeter of the park for dogs and that worked out fine for us. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The positives: Absolutely gorgeous park. Tremendous landscaping, quiet, beautiful golf course, roomy lots, great hookups, immaculate, good location. In other words, all the reasons we chose to stay here initially. The negatives: I only have two negatives to report here, but one is significant enough that we went from considering purchasing a place here to now not wanting to even rent here again. The Wi-Fi is very spotty and only available at the clubhouse, but the primary reason we will not return is the attitude of owners that were near us. We overhead them mentioning that all of us renters should be branded with a scarlet "R" and forced to wear a red t-shirt so they can spot us easier. Apart from a very nice couple from Montana, we were not welcomed by anyone despite the fact that we are very outgoing people, had a newer coach, and are very polite. Hardly what you would categorize as "annoying renters." We are a gay couple from Oregon and have found RV'ers to be welcoming across the country: not here. We would leave today, but unfortunately there are no refunds allowed for early departure. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I stayed in this resort most of November. The resort is mostly park models. I was told by a friend to contact a local realtor (Sue Greene [greene15@verizon.net]). She gave me the names of 4 people who had RV pads for rent. I rented from one of them. A nose-in to a lake. I was pleased with the amenities. I will return. The rate of $23 was based upon a monthly rate of $700. In high season it is more like $1000+ per month. We camped here in a Motorhome.

CAUTION! When you type this into your browser, it brings up an address for Cathedral City. Outdoor resorts does the booking for this place. It is all privately owned and you must go through the broker at Outdoor Resorts. The address for Rancho Casa Blanca is 84136 Avenue 44, Indio, Ca 92203. This park is mostly park models with very few places to park the motorhome. I hope they keep a few open spots for motorhomes. Nice cement pads. All the amenities! Very clean and well taken care of. Several pools and hot tubs all over the place. Everything is immaculate. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed with a rally, so we were in the 30 amp, no water or sewer hook-ups. There were some FHU sites, which we would use if not with a rally. Good place to stay as it is right in town. The FHU sits are between trees and have shade. Would be great for a short stay. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Great overnight stop. Parking in a fairgrounds parking lot so no grass. Power was fine. Fairgrounds staff working the grounds were wonderful. Close to lots of things: Palm Springs, La Quinta, great eating places, shopping. Gate protected at night. Air card excellent. No cable TV but antenna coverage good. Room to ride around the fairgrounds on a bike. Interesting Moroccan/Arabic architecture to the fairgrounds itself. Easy in, easy out. The weather was windy, windy, windy, more than normal they said. Nicely landscaped, very clean sites and park, lots of trees and privacy between sites. Only stayed 1 night so did not use the clubhouse or other amenities, but this is a higher end park that would be great to stay in for a month or season. Close to 1-10 but did not hear much highway noise at night. Nice dog park with grass and a nice lily pond and fountain. Would stay again for a longer time period. Lot of snowbirds here during the winter months. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Clean and well organized, there were maintenance staff constantly busy keeping things clean and tidy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Concrete pads were level and clean. We had a back in site, and there was adequate space to get in and out with a 37 ft motorhome. Larger rigs were located on pull through pads. The services were well located on the site and easy to hook up. Located in a gated community area. We stayed 3 days and would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Stayed as coast to coast member, site had no sewer hook up. Excellent facilities on site. Had two separate concrete pads, one for motor home and other for a towed vehicle. Site has shade trees and some grass, and gravel, no picnic bench. Has one free modem hook up near check-in office, wireless is Tengo Internet, which costs money. Has free long distance phone for the park, great feature. No full time restaurant on site, but lots of them in town. Staff is very friendly. Did not give it a 10 cause of no sewer for non-owners, and no free Wi-Fi,otherwise a great park to visit. There are sewers hook-ups available but not for us non-owner members. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here as Coast to Coast members. It is a very good location for the area and very well maintained. Our back-in site was easy to get into. If you are not a Western Horizon member like us you will always be put into one of the sites with 30 amps and no sewer. You will also find that in this part of the resort which has approximately 125 sites, the bathroom facilities only has one shower for men and two for women. That can be a problem for this many sites and should have more shower accommodations. The resort has a nice pool and spa and many activities. We camped here in a Motorhome.

If you are not a Western Horizon member do not waste your time. My wife and I stopped in at the desk to inquire about staying 4 nights in November. We were rudely asked if we were Western Horizon members. We were not but are Camp Club USA members. She said fine you can stay only two nights via their agreement with Camp Club USA but, we would not have a full hook up sight and would have to leave after the 2 nights. We asked if we could just pay a higher rate to stay the full 4 nights we be in Indio. She said no. We could not help but notice all the empty sites as we left. We stayed at Indian Waters 2 blocks over. We camped here in a Motorhome.
