After trying to call Bob's RV Roundup for several days and getting only a busy signal, we drove by it today. The campground is closed and fenced off; it looks like they are tearing out the sites. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Convenient park for overnight or short-term stays. Sites are close together but pull-throughs are easily accessible, even for big rigs. Most of the back-in sites around the perimeter appeared to be occupied by long-term residents. Sites are mostly grass with a small concrete patio area. Bathrooms/showers are small and old. The gentleman who works in the office was very friendly and helpful when making reservations on the phone and when checking in. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Not a bad park (has lots of pull throughs), but not a destination, either. Good for a night to squeeze in among the many permanent residents for an overnight sleep and be on your way in the morning. Good cable TV, 30 and 50 amp. service, water and sewer. Just far enough from I-10 not to be noisy, but close enough to jump back on quick. We'd stay here again for an overnighter. We camped here in a Motorhome.

There were 4 sites with sewer hookups against the back of the building. These were sloping and narrow (forget using awnings if someone else is there) and the sewer must go uphill to empty. The water and power sites were much more level. OK for overnight stay. 30 amp power does not permit full use of air conditioner in the heat. Friendly staff and officers in the lodge. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This huge parking area is a handy stop that we used overnight when having our RV serviced nearby. We're told that some people stay here a month or more and set up picnic tables etc., and no one keeps track of who comes and goes. Plenty of room. There's nothing but a huge packed-dirt lot (with the casino a short walk away) so it's not for us except to tide us over for a night or two, but it's great for that. And at free it saved us roughly $50. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We camped here for two nights. The parking area is a gravel area across the street from the casino. This is just a parking area which has signs "No Overnight Camping" but when you call security at the number listed they say to camp as long as you wish. They do want you to come to the casino and try your luck. There are fine restaurants there. The experience here is totally free dry camping with others camped nearby. There is no dumpster for trash so just take it to your next stop. Since the parking is close to the Interstate, it can be noisy. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Clean park, but under new ownership (not WH anymore) and as such, they don't honor the RPI rate even though they accept RPI (till the end of 2011) Felt that since they don't honor the RPI agreement of $10/nite they should have called me and told me before i got here (then i would have tried to get in somewhere else). The place was practically empty. Sewer hookup is all the way in the rear like trailer parks used to be 50 yrs ago, so I had to park on the gravel. Even tho they just put in new sewer hookups very recently they didn't want to spend the money on Cable. BTW they told me that the new rates will be $40+/nite. In Indio! We won't be back again! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Magnificent landscaping at park entry. Members parked in well-landscaped area. Guests parked on gravel with no sewers. Dump truck came around every couple of days if requested. Nice dog run, nice clubhouse. Lovely pool area. Understand the park is under new ownership and making improvements to entire park including guest area. Rate was RPI. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Our first Coast-to-Coast experience since buying the membership in Fall of 2009. Needed assistance with backing-in. Not much shade. Spaces were concrete pad - a little on the short side - between rocky/gravel yards. No sewer in the C2C available spaces. Right in town - so convenient to everything. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Rate is for Passport America, even though the current book has it as $17.50 for W/E site. We got a FHU one, which we didn't need for just an overnight stay. When asked about it, they said all of the sites are the same price now, and wouldn't move us because it was too hot?? Would probably look for something a bit cheaper for just an overnight stay. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Read the reviews and decided to stay in spite of the negative comments. Specifically it is 3 miles from the Indian Wells Tennis Garden where the Open Tennis Tournament is held yearly, so the commute was easy for us and none of the other factors dissuaded us. We are self contained including having satellite TV, Internet satellite mounted on the roof, our own washer and dryer onboard, and both of us have cell phones so those amenities are not required for us. I agree the park could use some updating but the proximity to our primary reason for being here made all of that not a factor in the decision. It is off the highway so there is only city noise during the day, very little at night except sirens occasionally. The site was a pull through concrete drive more then long enough for our 40 footer with the toad parked behind, with shade trees over the drivers cab and tall bushes to provide separation from the park model that sat next to us. The 42 foot quad slide rig next to us was closer then I like, but when owners lower their shades all day long every day I take it as and indication they don't want to mingle and respect that. I have more then enough to do to keep me busy with my own life without relying on park residents to need to be friendly. If they initiate I will respond, but it isn't why I was here. Yes, the price is higher then I like to pay, but for the benefit in time and travel distance I will live with it. The office staff were efficient and had our reservation ready to go when we arrived. We got our mail delivered here and they have an efficient system for distribution of our mail. We checked out the pool, but that lasted 15 minutes because it is small and very much utilized, too crowded for my taste! There is a rather constant parade of small business owners ready to wash my coach and car which I had to decline. Shopping is all around with a Super WalMart, and Costco less then a mile west and Ralph's grocery store 1.5 miles south of the park. The electricity is 50 amp and clean, the water pressure is about 60 psi so use a regulator and the sewer connection required one length of hose to reach the in-ground access port, all the amenities an full time RVer should need. We were told when we asked that their Wi-Fi was "not the best" and it is TengoInternet, which I am not fond of under the best of circumstances. To attend the BNP Paribas Indian Wells Tennis Open was our agenda and this park met that need. If I decide to attend in the future I would come here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is way too expensive for it's condition and services. First of all it is mostly a trailer park with the trailers in a mix of condition. There are many permanents and seasonals. We were placed in a tight back in with older trailers on each side. There are pull throughs available but even though we booked early we couldn't seem to get one. Wi-Fi was not working even when we went to the office. We ended up at Starbucks. No cable either. This place needs serious updating from the restrooms to the laundry to all other services. We will not consider this park for future visits. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This place is the absolute best park we have ever found. One reviewer thought they were treated poorly as renters here but our experience was the opposite as we were treated very friendly by every space owner in the park. MCC is flat out the gold standard for a nice park for motor coaches, end of story. There is another place close by (Desert Shores) that has larger casitas with the lots but it reminded me of the Arizona "over 55 parks" and did not have much vibrancy to it. Motorcoach Country Club is fabulous and has really active and fun people there. We like it so much we are going to buy a lot there as this place is simply the best. We camped here in a Motorhome.

If you're reading this, you probably already know what this park is all about. World-Class luxury for motorcoaches only, and a dazzling display of personal wealth, possessions and creature comforts unlike anyplace else. The rental price is off the charts, but the facilities are beyond compare. Everything is done to perfection. Landscaping is gorgeous. Dog walk areas look like lush gardens. Water and fountains abound. Any amenity you can imagine is at your fingertips. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Almost any service or repair can be done at your site: cleaning, technical, etc. The level of individual amenities at your site depends on what you're willing to pay. But every single site is clean, spacious and state-of-the-art. That said, I gave this resort an 8 because many site owners in residence are less than friendly. They seem to tolerate us weekly renters as unavoidable pests. The clatter of traffic inside the resort with workers coming and going is constant during daylight and noisy at night with customized golf carts whizzing by, enroute to the elegant Clubhouse/Bar. We've been RVing and traveling with pets since the 80s. This is the only time and place where another RVer (anonymous) has filed a complaint against us. Management tactfully came to our site and asked us to change our rig set-up. Which (I confess) was in violation of a resort rule. It was a minor thing but really ruined our impression of this place and the kind of people who own properties here. Sadly, we won't be back. We drive a 45' quad-slide coach. We camped here in a Motorhome.

What a really beautiful RV park resort. Definitely the best we have stayed at. Lovely long, wide sites some overlooking lake. We stayed on a site overlooking lake and golf course and found it to be very relaxing. The park has a par 3 golf course, swimming pool, spa, tennis courts, putting green. On site restaurant very good. Very friendly staff, security 24 hours. Lawns and sites very well manicured. You do have to pay for Wi-Fi. Has cable TV. Site approx. 4 miles from I-10. Would definitely return. The positives: Absolutely gorgeous park. Tremendous landscaping, quiet, beautiful golf course, roomy lots, great hookups, immaculate, good location. In other words, all the reasons we chose to stay here initially. The negatives: I only have two negatives to report here, but one is significant enough that we went from considering purchasing a place here to now not wanting to even rent here again. The Wi-Fi is very spotty and only available at the clubhouse, but the primary reason we will not return is the attitude of owners that were near us. We overhead them mentioning that all of us renters should be branded with a scarlet "R" and forced to wear a red t-shirt so they can spot us easier. Apart from a very nice couple from Montana, we were not welcomed by anyone despite the fact that we are very outgoing people, had a newer coach, and are very polite. Hardly what you would categorize as "annoying renters." We are a gay couple from Oregon and have found RV'ers to be welcoming across the country: not here. We would leave today, but unfortunately there are no refunds allowed for early departure. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Beautiful, first class. Only 2 small complaints. No WiFi at site, have to walk to clubhouse; and had noise from gate house at our site (104). People honk their horn or stop to talk to the guard. Ok during the day, but horn and loud voices right outside your bedroom at 11pm or 5am is not necessary. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Without a doubt the best resort we have ever stayed in. Only caveat, it is a Class A resort ONLY, so if you don't have a late model big rig you miss out and this place is so great you may want to trade and get one just to be able to visit here. The grounds are perfectly maintained. Most lot owners have highly improved their lots adding outdoor kitchens, fruit trees, shade structures, landscaping etc. The rental fees include unlimited golf and access to the fitness center. There is always an activity going on, they have a wine and cheese reception for renters, so it is not just built around the owners. You will be invited numerous times to gatherings, parties, golf, tennis, pickle ball, bingo, luncheon and on and on. The premium resort parks in the Palm Springs area tend to get confused together (read the other reviews). This one is the Outdoor Resort in Indio, not the Motorcoach Country Club (which is also spectacular and used to share the Outdoor Resort Name) across the street or the Outdoor Resort - Palm Springs which is in Cathedral City and allows fifth wheels and Class C rigs (not sure on TTs). This park will not disappoint, but it will make all the other parks you visit pale in comparison. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I stayed in this resort most of November. The resort is mostly park models. I was told by a friend to contact a local realtor (Sue Greene [greene15@verizon.net]). She gave me the names of 4 people who had RV pads for rent. I rented from one of them. A nose-in to a lake. I was pleased with the amenities. I will return. The rate of $23 was based upon a monthly rate of $700. In high season it is more like $1000+ per month. We camped here in a Motorhome.

CAUTION! When you type this into your browser, it brings up an address for Cathedral City. Outdoor resorts does the booking for this place. It is all privately owned and you must go through the broker at Outdoor Resorts. The address for Rancho Casa Blanca is 84136 Avenue 44, Indio, Ca 92203. This park is mostly park models with very few places to park the motorhome. I hope they keep a few open spots for motorhomes. Nice cement pads. All the amenities! Very clean and well taken care of. Several pools and hot tubs all over the place. Everything is immaculate. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Great overnight stop. Parking in a fairgrounds parking lot so no grass. Power was fine. Fairgrounds staff working the grounds were wonderful. Close to lots of things: Palm Springs, La Quinta, great eating places, shopping. Gate protected at night. Air card excellent. No cable TV but antenna coverage good. Room to ride around the fairgrounds on a bike. Interesting Moroccan/Arabic architecture to the fairgrounds itself. Easy in, easy out. The weather was windy, windy, windy, more than normal they said. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Fairground entrance is Gate 4, 46290 Arabia, Indio, CA. Call ahead to check if any activities going on at fairground. No amenities or activities, but concrete pull through spaces, lots of room, and full hookups for $20 per night. Whether you are just passing through or want to spend a day or two seeing Palm Springs and area, you can't beat this for location and price. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

What a great park. We have stayed in the area for the last 10 years, always in a bigger, fancier parks. This is the first time at this park, it is one of the best, great Owners, staff, very quiet, clean. Large private spaces. We will come back to this one over the bigger ones. The price is almost half. The Wi-Fi was very good. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for 6 nights. The park is well maintained and like other reviews it does get some noise from the freeway and trains but many other parks in this area do as well. The only concern is that you can't count on getting a specific site. When I booked, I was told that the park was full and they couldn't accommodate my request. When I arrived the park had many available spaces. They did apologize when I mentioned it to the office. The staff was great. The park is clean and secure with a locked gate. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice park. Well laid out and easy to hookup to. Sites very level and large enough for even the largest of rigs. Pool/hot tub were quite well kept. Security lights everywhere made us feel better about theft reports of others. Managers seemed very helpful. We will be staying again I'm sure. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

The park is very nice and well maintained. Each site has a grass strip and the organized activities are great. The park is mainly long term and full time residents but approximately 50 spaces are available for over night or longer. The staff and residents are very friendly however security is lacking. Our vehicle was one of seven burglarized during the early morning hours. After speaking with several other residents I learned theft has been a frequent problem for several years. Several long term residents said they have lost bicycles and other property in the last two years. Even the alleged night security lost a set of keys and radio from the security golf cart the same evening our truck was burglarized. In my opinion security is seriously lacking especially given the past theft problems. Because of the theft problems I doubt we would return to this park unless better security is provided. Anyone off the street can easily enter the park as there's no gated security entrance. If not for the theft problems this would be a top rated park. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed as coast to coast member, site had no sewer hook up. Excellent facilities on site. Had two separate concrete pads, one for motor home and other for a towed vehicle. Site has shade trees and some grass, and gravel, no picnic bench. Has one free modem hook up near check-in office, wireless is Tengo Internet, which costs money. Has free long distance phone for the park, great feature. No full time restaurant on site, but lots of them in town. Staff is very friendly. Did not give it a 10 cause of no sewer for non-owners, and no free Wi-Fi,otherwise a great park to visit. There are sewers hook-ups available but not for us non-owner members. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here as Coast to Coast members. It is a very good location for the area and very well maintained. Our back-in site was easy to get into. If you are not a Western Horizon member like us you will always be put into one of the sites with 30 amps and no sewer. You will also find that in this part of the resort which has approximately 125 sites, the bathroom facilities only has one shower for men and two for women. That can be a problem for this many sites and should have more shower accommodations. The resort has a nice pool and spa and many activities. We camped here in a Motorhome.

If you are not a Western Horizon member do not waste your time. My wife and I stopped in at the desk to inquire about staying 4 nights in November. We were rudely asked if we were Western Horizon members. We were not but are Camp Club USA members. She said fine you can stay only two nights via their agreement with Camp Club USA but, we would not have a full hook up sight and would have to leave after the 2 nights. We asked if we could just pay a higher rate to stay the full 4 nights we be in Indio. She said no. We could not help but notice all the empty sites as we left. We stayed at Indian Waters 2 blocks over. We camped here in a Motorhome.
