This campsite is on Don Pedro Lake and is good for use if you want to utilize the lake. The campsite itself has a woodsy setting. Each site has a fire pit and bench. The site we had (A8) was relatively private and had lots of shade and protection from the wind. The website is very good and provides pictures and a rating for each site indicating whether there is shade, whether the sites are level, etc. Downside to the campsite are as follows: Marina/general store is about 1.5 miles from the boat launch, 1.25 miles from the campsite which is inconvenient especially if you are towing a boat; hilly and steep in areas -not toddler/kid friendly; no pets and no view of the lake from the campsite. Campsite itself was pretty nice, but the inconvenience of having the boat launch so far from the marina/store and campsite was problematic and inconvenient. We will probably not return for that reason. We camped here in a Motorhome.
