Rate reflect Senior Pass. This is a great campground along the San Joaquin River. It's very pet friendly, and you can take your dogs on the trails. It's dusty, but there isn't much traffic. We had site B-7 for 3 nights, and would have stayed longer if we could have. The rangers are very friendly and helpful. I intend to come back here as soon as possible. The hike to Rainbow Falls, about 5.5 miles round trip is well worth it. Beautiful falls. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This campground is just weird. There seemed to be lots of driving around by visitors and campers, and it was extremely dusty. We had site #26, and it was very difficult to level. The route through the campground is hard to determine and is very narrow with a dirt and rocky surface and it would be difficult for large RVs to squeeze between some of the trees. It seemed that very few of the campers kept their dogs on leash as required, and ours were attacked by one that ran out of a campsite and jumped them. Be aware if you bring your dogs. I would not return to this campground. The rate reflects the Senior Pass discount. We camped here in a Motorhome.
