Nice place in the wilderness, lots of shade and trees. No hookups but nice big spaces with picnic tables, great for ourdoor people who don't mind dry camping. There is water in the park and a spigot to fill your RV by the showers. Not much to do but enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery and the sunsets. Dogs loved it. We will be back. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We enjoyed our stay, although there wasn't much to do for the kids. Sites are pretty rustic, packed dirt with rock walls between. There are lots of trees, so be careful driving in and out. Pool was closed for winter. Nice little store with pool table, library, and juke box. Campground is on a steep hillside, so be prepared to walk up/down hill. Playground was pretty run down and horseshoe pit was not maintained. Sunset views were fantastic. Great location for visiting Palomar Observatory. Be careful driving in/out because we watched a trailer trying for an hour to get unstuck. Camp owners were very helpful in trying to get camper unstuck. We camped here in a Motorhome.
