This "park" is really nothing but a 30' oceanfront cliff--no designated sites, no hookups, no amenities. You pay your money at the motel, bounce over the rutted road to the ocean front, pick yourself a relatively flat spot that's not occupied, and level out. But the view (which includes Piedras Blancas Lighthouse) is amazing! And you're only a mile from the Elephant Seal Rookery and 3 miles from Hearst Castle. If you're self-contained and headed for the nearby state park (which also has no hookups), check this out first. We had no trouble getting a 39' fiver into a fantastic spot where an overnight turned into three beautiful days on the coast. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
