For what you get this is really expensive. But it is the only park for many miles. We were the only people here. It is next to a trailer park which was not very attractive. We were here for 3 days to visit family in Davis. Would not stay here again if there was a choice. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Basic level gravel lot with full hookups attached to the local fairgrounds. Six of 40 sites are pull through, the rest are back in. No restrooms or showers, but all the hookups functioned. Adjacent old RV park is very run down and gives the area a bad feel. The fairgrounds raised their rates this year from $25 to $35 a night, a bit high but they have no competition. We will definitely use this for an overnight stop again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We stayed here one night while visiting our kids in Davis. The price is right. I reserved on the internet and I'm not sure if anyone came around and checked or not. One complaint I had was the trailer park behind, someone's dog was barking way past 10pm and it was hot so all windows were open. Be aware there are large stadium lights in the parking area, so no night-light is needed. I think that's a good thing, rather than being dark as anyone can come and go. If you come in without paying ahead, there is a box with forms and an Iron-Ranger, (slotted pipe) to put your money in. The power and water was consistent. The sites are roomy enough for a tow car or large motor-home with dingy. There is a Tower Mart, (mini-mart) within walking distance, if needed. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We chose this place for a one-night stopover. (The entrance to the camping area is off Gum St., not East St.) We made reservations online, but there is no one there to check you in, just pick a spot -- no host and no amenities other than full hookups. We were a little concerned due to the lack of security and the adjacent mobile home park (leaving things in the back of the truck), however it was quiet and perfect for our needs, and we had no problems. There is a good Mexican seafood restaurant called Las Isletas at the nearby mall but the mall itself is disappointing. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Basic services only. No site manager, only payment drop box. Except for an early evening domestic dispute in the next RV, the park was quiet even though its located in the middle of the city. Adjacent trailer park looks pretty seedy but wasn't a problem. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
We wanted a park off I-5 and this worked out well. It's all gravel with no restrooms but the rate is good for an over night stay. Nice fairgrounds but they don't allow the dogs to be walked in the fairgrounds. We camped here in a Motorhome.
