We are not RV-ers we are Pipeliners, so we travel full time living in our RV. We stayed in Battlement Mesa for 8 months. This Park was one of the better parks that we have ever stayed at. It was clean and well kept. The lots were fairly large. The lots are all paved with gravel surrounding, however they did have some large grassy spots in the park and there were a few play grounds within walking distance. The laundry facilities were a bit undesirable (small & unclean). We had to travel to Parachute to find a decent laundr-o-mat. Everything else seemed to be very clean and the lawn was mowed regularly. The parks tenants are mostly long term and it isn't as friendly to overnight users, but they can still be accommodated. The very best thing about this park is that there aren't park employees and managers in everyone's business all the time. It is very private and you can live as you please without being harassed. However if you do have a problem or are creating a problem, it will be taken care of promptly by the city of Battle Mesa. (The city owns the Park). We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Less than a dozen spaces with grass. The others are gravel and stickers. Swimming pool and activity center are available, but off premises in the area. We are long term here, but not junk. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Long way to drive to still be close to freeway. Lots of " long term junk." Not bad for an overnight but not a " resort." We camped here in a Motorhome.
