This is an older campground with potential, and is maintained to the bare minimum. As mentioned by other reviewers, there are a number of "live-ins" there, and the sites are close together, lacking privacy. As others also mentioned, it is okay as an overnight stop, but not conducive to a longer stay - certainly not as advertised as an RV "park". It is located on the I-76 136th Street off ramp and there is some traffic noise, as well as nearby railroad traffic noise. This facility needs some attention to detail and sprucing up to be a comfortable RV park, and the elimination of every other space so the RV's aren't parked within feet of each other (ours was 9' from the one next to us). There is no real alternative east of Denver when you are looking for a spot to stay over, and want to get through Denver when heading east. The biggest drawback is the ripoff price of $37.50 per night. That price would be more realistic in a nicer facility, but not this one. The best thing that could happen for all RV'ers would be a competitor across the road or to the north of this place. There is no doubt it would be successful based on how full this place is and the high price they charge for what there is. There is a desparate need for a nice RV campground east of Denver and this one isn't it. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed 1 night while passing through area. Couldn't find CG we were looking for. Glad we were only staying 1 night. CG set up is awful!! LOTS of LIVE THERE types. Sites not long enough for our 31' 5er. We would NOT stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We were traveling west to east and wanted to get past Denver before spending the night. This park is located about 15 miles northeast of Denver, off of I-76. It is located on the northwest side of I-76, at exit 20. On the opposite side of the interstate is a railroad track that gets plenty of use, however, was quiet after 10 PM. The sites are grass and semi-level about 25 feet wide. The extended stay residents out numbered the campers, but most were well-kept trailers and motorhomes. The office/grocery/supply building was smoke-filled and could use some cleaning and updating. I would not make this a destination, but rather an overnight stop. I thought the nightly fee was too high for a park of this type (and this was with a GS discount). Its location east of Denver is its strong point, especially if traveling west to east and want to get through Denver before stopping for the night. We camped here in a Motorhome.
