Run by a very nice Swiss couple. I stayed here with my dog. I was extremley pleased with the CG. Other residents were friendly and helpful. They have their own propane fill station. I didn't use either the separate bath or laundry facilities, but I snuck a peek and they were very clean and each site is issued a key during check-in. I fully intend to stay here in the future. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We stayed here one night as we were passing through visiting family in Delta. There are a lot of full-timers here and a lot of the campground is pretty run down. Bathrooms and showers were okay. I think it's the best choice in town, but would not choose to stay here if we had another choice. Office staff was very nice. Short walk to view the river. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
An older park. The bathrooms/showers appeared to be clean, but the building is old. Cable TV worked well. Wi-Fi is dependent on the site. Mine worked but was a little slow. The lady in the office was very nice. I stayed here 2 nights. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This campground is nice and shady on the Gunnison River. Not too many bugs. Very friends owners with suggestions on day trips, shopping and dining. The bathrooms and shower were clean and cleaned daily. There are many permanent residents that have put in lush green lawns & nicely decorated. There is a dog walk along the river. Very pet friendly. They are growing a community garden. There are wild flowers planted along the river. We had an awesome stay. There are 2 fabulous shops for ladies and a scrapbooking shop. There are 2 fabulous restaurants. There are murals throughout the town. Owner guided us to everything we needed. She is always available to chat or attend to whatever is needed. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Cable TV doesn't work and Wi-Fi a bit erratic though pretty fast when running. Was able to pick up a few digital stations with my antenna. Bathrooms really could used updating and water pressure was pretty low. Laundry worked OK. Old but very clean park, but really wouldn't suggest you bring a 40 footer in here, however. Spaces really not all that large. Lots of permanents but they appear to be pretty well supervised as sites were clean. Best feature about this place is the hiker/biker trail that starts immediately across the bridge and goes for quite some distance along the river and around a very pretty park and lake. To access this, just walk out the front of the park, south on the sidewalk across the bridge and then make a right just past the end of the bridge. Be warned that Delta is a pretty hot place in the summer! We camped here in a Motorhome.
Extremely friendly staff. Very nice setting on the Gunnison River. Easy access to walking and biking trails. Many seasonal sites. We would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
The young man that assisted us was very nice. We were the only Overnighter in the park, the rest of the park was Full Timers. Most of the RV's appear that they had been here for some time. A few sites were doubled up, some sites needed to be cleaned up a little. The park was very quiet, everything worked just fine. It was easy in and easy out. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Lots of permanent rigs at this campground. Some shade trees, but it was very hot here in August. Full hook-ups, cable TV. An OK overnight spot. Definitely nothing fancy. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is one of three RV parks in Delta, and is located on U.S. 50 on the north fork of the Gunnison River. It is an older park with quite a few "long-term" residents in older rigs. Water, electric, Wi-Fi, cable TV, and sewer adequate; dirt/sand sites with picnic tables and grills; numerous large trees right on the river but hardly picturesque; some noise from nearby highway. Manager showed us to our site. Rate reflects G/S discount but I'm not sure if they are G/S members. Toilets and showers very clean but no heat, and no lights on at night which was a little scary. After reading reviews on other parks in Delta, this one seems typical. OK for an overnight. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Lots of people living here. Some of the sites were very cluttered! Owners say they are trying to fix it up, but it needs lots of work. At the back of the park there are leased/owned units that are very nice. Yes, we would come back. The rate we quoted reflects a weekly rate. We camped here in a Motorhome.
There are 3 RV parks in Delta. All are older but adequate. This is the first time I've stayed at this park. Don't be deceived by the older appearance. I was a little leery when I pulled in, and by the "biker" appearing owners. They were very nice and helpful. Satellite has 20 TV stations. WiFi worked very well at my spot - B3. Pool looked very nice although small. Bathrooms/showers were old but clean. Spot was level. There are a lot of trees. I will choose this park when I come back to Delta. We camped here in a Motorhome.
