Typical KOA, overpriced for what the camp is like. Gravel sites, fairly level, but when it rains some of the sites are underwater. Pool is very small as is the hot tub, the kids water slide is no longer functional, the hay ride is for kids and just goes around the park. The office has a nice selection of supplies and gifts/nick-knacks. Yes, we would stay here again, as the other RV camps we say in the area were terrible. Our RV is 38' long. We camped here in a Motorhome.

July 2014
Had business in Colorado Springs for a few days but all the highly rated parks were full, so we stayed in Fountain. Asphalt roads, level gravel site, with concrete patio, patio table, 4 chairs, BBQ and a metal chiminea. We opted for the deluxe site as it had a sewer connection. The water/electric sites were on grass with none of the above amenities. Nice clean park whose only drawback is the many freight trains that rumbled close by blowing their horns. Suppose there is nothing the park can do about that, but if you are at all noise sensitive, this is not the place for you. We were not bothered as it was hot and we kept our A/C on all night. Staff was friendly and helpful. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We have stayed at this park before, mainly because it is convenient to I-25. I can honestly say that it is not as nice as it used to be. Granted it's early in the season but with the amount of workkampers on site, it appears to us that they could be trying to take care of the sites a little better. Lots of weeds, and just not as 'neat and clean' as it used to be for a KOA. We had hoped to not unhook as it was an overnight stop but the site wasn't large enough to accommodate that so be sure and ask if you're getting a larger site. Staff was friendly and store was well stocked. We camped here in a Motorhome.
