We stayed here 11 nights and were very pleased. Our only complaint was the Wi-Fi kept disconnecting. But we always managed to get back on the Internet. Very pleasant campground. Was quiet and clean and the owners/operators were very helpful in all aspects. We would highly recommend this campground and will use it in the future. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Quiet, peaceful, spacious and nice owners. No amenities to attract folks with kids thus the peace and quiet. Great views east and west. We will return. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
I love this little campground. We've stopped here a number of times the past 10 years. It's simple and very peaceful. If you're into mountain biking, there is a nice old road that peters out into a trail from the campground road heading up into the hills to the west. I highly recommend this place for those who like quiet camping and don't need a lot of frills. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.
At the northern end of the San Luis Valley, the views of the Sangre de Christo mountains are amazing. This campground has been here, with the same owners for 29 years, the sites are ample and trees screen between. The road in and the campground roads are all well maintained gravel. The bathhouse/lounge/laundry are older and charming and spotless. The people here are very nice and helpful. This is not a resort, nor is it fancy. My idea of heaven. They often have off road events and serve hunters in the fall. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
