Well maintained, "country" RV park about 12 miles south of Creede. The Rio Grande River is a short walking distance across the highway. Gravel/grass spaces that are easy to pull-through. The Wi-Fi access is very sketchy and slow if available. Not all cellular service is available (T-Mobile not available). Beautiful area next to the river and mountains. Horseback riding, river rafting, jeep rental, fishing, hiking: enough to keep everyone busy for weeks. RV park entrance is on west side of Lodge and Cabins! The entrance is fairly narrow, adjust your turning accordingly! Interior roads are easily negotiated. If you stop at the Lodge, pull in at front parallel to the road. Do not attempt to pull in on west side of Lodge with large rigs! Camp host site well marked inside the entrance. The camp host, staff, and owners are all very friendly and helpful. Some "summer-long" campers who return every year. We will definitely camp here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We spent the summer here parked not too far from the Rio Grande River. This resort has cabins as well as an RV Park. The resort is on both sides of State Highway 149 and has an assortment of activities such as horseback riding, rafting, jeep rentals, volleyball, fishing, and horseshoes. The location has scenic views of the surrounding mountains. We had bears in the campground quite often, so we had to take precautions with garbage, etc. The managers are extremely helpful and the lodge serves good old fashioned down home meals. We will definitely return. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
