This is a state campground with no hookups. It has two separate camping areas about a mile apart. We stayed at the Wolf's Den area for 3 nights, which has large sites, both very grassy and well maintained, with the road and parking areas level and paved. The Mashamoquet camping area is about a mile away, and much more primitive. It would probably not accommodate large campers very well, and seems better suited to tents and maybe small campers. There are seven miles of trails through the park, all very pleasant for hiking, which connect the two camping areas, various rock formations, and also provide access to a swimming pond in the park. (Can also be accessed by road.) All things considered, this is a very quiet and well maintained campground with a friendly staff, and for $11 per night, a very good value. We would gladly stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
