A great small state park to camp at. First time dry camping in our HTT and it was great. Our only problem was our original site - it was site #1 and it was very steep. Could only open one tent end because I couldn't get level. Had to prop the camper up against the car so that it wouldn't slide. However, talked to the ranger and the next morning we switched sites across the street. Mostly tent camping. Sites in the 60's appeared great. Walk to the lake is pretty long, but beautiful. Small beach, clear water. Park offered free movies for the kids both nights and an ice cream truck also came in. Quiet time is 10:00 p.m. and at 10, it got quiet. Bathrooms looked good for a state park. Had a great time - close to home, relaxing, fun. Would definitely return. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Very pretty campground. Large shaded sites. Most are level. No dogs allowed. Large lake to launch boats. Bathrooms are large and clean. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.
